Anger And Anger Of Anger
Walking into a school, workplace, or home with a scowl on your face and it moping around with your
head hanging down and your eyes staring at the ground isn t anger. Anger isn t serene or tranquility, its
an outburst of frustration. Anger is holding your breath till your face turns blue and not being able to
breathe. Anger is a feeling of resentment and rage (DEFINITION). It s a feeling of hatred towards
someone or something. Anger can build and build inside of you for so long that one day you will just
snap. You will start hollering at everyone for something they didn t do and will start punching,
throwing, or tearing things up. Sometimes when people express their anger they may become
belligerent. Why do people get anger? Is it something that inherited from generation to generation or
is just a feeling built up inside for so long that you just become annoyed with everything in life? Anger
is an undesirable feeling to have. You start to feel sick to your stomach or start to have a rush of
adrenaline to your head or heart. There are different ways people can cope with anger. People will sob,
scream, run away, tighten their jaw or clench their fists. The look on people s faces when they get
anger can go from pale to a bright red within a matter of a minute. It s okay to express your way of
anger but there are other times when it s not okay to express it. Driving down the road, with cars going
eighty miles an hour, a car starts to slow down, what do most people do, they

An Analysis Of Haraway s Manifesto Manifesto Essay
In a world invested in (overly) determined biological authenticity, its margins will be populated by the
identified and self identifying cyborgs. This is not a coincidence. Haraway s Manifesto strongly
suggests that in such a mixed subjugated population emergent opportunities for political alliances
based on affinities thrives. She reminds us that cyborgs do not/cannot respect traditional boundaries
and are therefore driven by survival (294) imperatives to reach across, to break through, to shatter
windows and ceilings, to ultimately be fluid and flow between hardened boundaries and between
worlds of status quo. In other words, to not only create patchwork identities but to construct political
understandings and positions through patchwork or coalition politics. For alliances to work there must
first be alignments. Haraway locates these through Sandoval (2000) who in Methodology for The
Oppressed, notes a connectivity between the mestiza consciousness that emerges from the Anzalduan
borderlands where feminists of color keep intact shifting and multiple identities with integrity and
love and the commitment to partiality, irony, intimacy and perversity of cyborgs (168) . It becomes
salient to highlight how these shifting and multiple identities are survival mechanisms activated in
response to being othered by dominant politics and those who espouse them. Both feminists of color
and cyborgs have utilized these mechanisms by recreating themselves in response,

Clinton Vs Hillary Clinton
Ask not what the country can do for you, but what can you do for you country. John F. Kennedy. Our
two main candidates this presidential election this year are Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. Hillary
Clinton was elected into the Senate in 2001, becoming the first lady to ever win a public office seat.
She later became the 67th U.S. Secretary of State. To this present day Hillary is the only women in
history to become the presidential nominee of a major political party. Donald Trump is a billionaire in
real estate business. He became the Republican nominee for the presidential debate.

As with abortion, both Trump and Clinton continue to have their own solutions to the health care
issue. Clinton has the most experience with the issue, as she has been arguing for a fix to this problem,
her entire career. Clinton proposes she keeps the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare), building on the
success and reducing the cost for the program. She also proposes to handle excessive price setting for
medical companies, out of pockets costs, and providing credit to those facing higher health expenses.
Trump, on the other hand, wants to completely get rid of the Obamacare, and focus on a more patient
centered health care system. Trump wants families and doctors to be the main decision makers in
medical situations, as well as pushing to make affordable health care across state lines. Both
candidates have a helpful improvements that could be used to improve healthcare. Though, I feel as
though the removal/improvement of Obamacare should really be up to the people. Trump wants to get
rid of Obamacare, but we have yet to hear of a substitute plan/program for people to use or have.
Clinton has a nice eye for improvement, but many people have suffered from Obamacare. Clinton s
idea will most likely take time, and time is of the essence. It s easier to improve something that has
already been laid out, but it can also be a risky move, as it can put more people into poverty by the

Tao Te Ching Analysis
Tao Te Ching: A Self Help Book for Americans There is no question that America is one of the most
self centered countries in the world, and because of this, we tend to avoid situations and issues that
have no immediate impact on us. Desensitization on this large of a scale can be dangerous, and it is
imperative that we begin to relearn traits such as kindness and compassion. The Tao Te Ching, while
not very familiar to the average westerner, is filled with numerous verses that speak directly about the
negative aspects of American culture and how we should be behaving. While the news spouts horror
stories daily about the terrible events in the world, remembering the teachings of the Tao can help to
alter our actions in the future. Some of the most monumental lessons from the Tao are those that seek
to correct greed, grow trust, and enforce peace, and from them we can learn how to improve western
culture with compassion and respect. Verse 3 of the Tao begins with a very simple statement, but it is
one that many Americans would have trouble following: Don t glorify heroes (3). Our entire
entertainment system is based on celebrities and elevating people for their accomplishments, no matter
how trivial they may be. Hollywood likes to take small events, or people, and blow them up larger
than life and milk them for all they re worth, until something better comes along. This is painfully
obvious in many of today s celebrities, especially the Kardashian family. Famous for being

Assess The Importance Of Feedback In Student Education
Reporting to both students and parents/carers is an important skill and part of being a teacher.
Reporting to students in the form of feedback is a critical element of the learning cycle. Incorporating
a range of effective strategies for providing students with feedback can advance students
understanding and development. Lacing instruction with correctional feedback will result in the
production of new instruction (Hattie Timperley, 2007, p.82). The combination of instruction and
feedback gives students the next step they need to take to develop a deeper understanding. For
feedback to provide any meaning to students it must link to the task at hand and be provided in a
timely manner. Sadler, as cited in Hattie and Timperley (2007, p.82) point out that feedback should
provide students with a stepping stone from what they understand to what is to be understood. The

Parents/carers are also invested in the development of student education. The aspects of their child s
education that parents/carers are interested in are the progress they are making, their strengths and
weaknesses, their development in comparison to other children and what they can do at home to help
(Cohen et al., as cited in Kivunja, 2015, p.385). It is the teachers responsibility to keep parents/carers
informed and attend to any concerns they may have. In addition to mid year and end of year reports
there are a number of strategies teachers can take to keep parents/carers informed. Readman and Allen
(2013, p.159) have identified a phone call or letter home, or an entry into a student diary that is to be
sighted and signed off by a parent/carer as some effective strategies to report students progress. It is
important for teachers to communicate through these strategies to keep parents/carers aware of their
child s progress and there are no surprises when reports are sent

The Cost Of Health Insurance
In 2012, the United States of America (USA) spent more than 2.8 trillion United States dollars (US$)
i.e. more than 17% of its gross domestic product (GDP) and more than the entire GDP of the United
Kingdom and Great Britain and Northern Ireland on its health care system (Rice et al., 2014, page #).
This outrageous number in the quote shows to what extent the United States government is really
going to in order to provide coverage for its citizens. The cost of health is rising day by day, and the
current rate of health insurance is unable to really help those in need of it, such as the poor or less
fortunate. Therefore, in order to take preventive measures for people to treat their well being, health

With a simple yet effective insurance plan that covers basic support for these poor families, they can
work their way up to paying off the plan in a set number of years as becoming a client of a health
insurance agency. The United States government is basically throwing money away on trying to figure
out how to help everyone but not really implementing much. If affordable coverage could be provided
to all, including those with families, through a plan where citizens work and then receive insurance
based on their ethic and employment, this could possible help with not only health care problems but
unemployment as well.
Problems of Health and Cost to Cover the Problems Lots of health issues can be focused on here, but
there are some evident ones that show up in impoverished homes. These mainly include asthma,
obesity, diabetes, high/low blood pressure, an innumerable amount of cardiac conditions, and many
mental illnesses as well. The numbers of diseases are increasing day by day and now more than ever
before showing up with HIV, AIDS, and parasitic problems too. In reality, and in the eyes of the poor
their problems are denied and so is their proper care, because of the lack of money and care they are
provided. The poor must compensate by overlooking agencies because of all the restrictions that they
fit under. As stated in Health Services Research (2014), The exclusion of a substantial proportion

the chance of a proposal, ...if she should die, it would be a comfort to know that it was all in pursuit if

of marriage which comes before anything in her eyes. Mrs. Bennet is a greedy woman who will use
anything as a weapon to tempt men, even her daughter Jane s illness, She will be taken very good care
of. As long as she stays there , it is all very well. (30) Austen exposes the flaws of Mrs. Bennet, to

not for happiness. Another character that illustrates satirical elements in Pride and Prejudice is Lydia

The Components Of Virtuous Leadership
Scholz Posted Date: September 21, 2017 6:52 AMStatus:Published
Victor,
Negative organizational climate is something that has become quite of an issue at my workplace. It
tends to go in somewhat of a downward spiral one person will become disgruntled about something
and start complaining, this grumbling creates a negative environment, more people become
disgruntled and join in, and the cycle continues. Virtuous leadership can help break this cycle of
negativity and boost positivity within the organization climate. Even as coworkers, we can display the
components of virtuous leadership by focusing on the greater good and portraying trust, integrity, and
forgiveness (Kinicki Fugate, 2012). Essentially, we can be a light to those in our workplace and
combat the spreading, negative darkness (Matthew 5:14 16, New International Version).
Whenever we form a group or team at my job one of the first things we do is assign and define roles
and responsibilities. Motivation and satisfaction of team members can be increased when they are
assigned roles congruent with individual strengths and abilities (Fischer, n.d.). This task could help
eliminate your issues concerning role conflict. When a group has an assigned leader it can function
without the continual question of who is in charge. Additionally, assigned roles can help with your
groups competition of what individual or job is most important; everyone can recognize the
uniqueness of each individual s

How Does Marlowe Use Pastoral Conventions
Pastoral convention has been used in literature as far back as Homer. ( Pastoral: Poetic Term ) The
technique features an idealized portrayal of rural life and scenery. It was extremely popular during the
XVI century. In his poem The Passionate Shepherd To His Love, Christopher Marlowe uses this
convention heavily; this incited the writings of numerous response poems, which ranged from
humorous parodies to equally rosy replies on behalf of the shepherd s lover. One such response is The
Nymph s Reply written by Sir Walter Raleigh. Raleigh s poem features a blatant difference in tone
from Marlowe s, as the nymph denies the shepherd s unblushing declaration of love by rephrasing all
the shepherd s statements in realistic terms.
The stark contrast in the tone and language used by Raleigh and Marlowe highlight their opposing
views of rural life. Marlowe s The Passionate Shepherd To His Love is a romantic invitation that
depicts farm life as a dreamlike ideal. Its melodic tone and soft language give an optimistic and gentle
view of a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
(Lines 5 8)
The nymph s negation of this proposal focuses on the transience of this offer; she states that the rocks
will become cold and the rivers violent (The Nymph s Reply, line 7), the flocks of sheep will leave
(lines 5 6), and the birdsongs will cease. (line 8) Raleigh s poem is a rejection of both the shepherd s
invitation and the concept of idealizing of the pastoral lifestyle. All things considered, Marlowe s The
Passionate Shepherd To His Love is a vast declaration of love illustrated with pastoral convention.
Raleigh s response can be read as either a parody of Marlowe s idealizing of rural life or as a
renunciation of the shepherd s love; either way, the poem is framed as repining of the transience of
youth and passion while restating the pastoral idealization in Raleigh s

Female Infanticide and Foeticide Essay
Female Infanticide and Foeticide
It is regrettable that female infanticide and foeticide are rapidly decreasing the female population
throughout India. The main factors that is responsible for the increase in the incidence of female
infanticide and foeticide is the low status of women, son preference, and the practice of dowry across
all casts groups.
The low status of women and girls is due to cultural beliefs and the material cost they represent to
their families. Vanaja Dhruvarajan says that there is a belief regarding the nature of men and women:
Men are ritually pure, physically strong, and emotionally mature; women, on the other hand, are
ritually pollutable, physically weak, and lack strong willpower (30). Because of these ... Show more

Overall, girls get poorer education than boys, and become less aware of the world around them.
Therefore, they become dependent on men, whether it is the father, the husband or the son.
The preference for male children is due to three major reasons. One is the economic value of having
sons. Sons are more likely than daughters to provide family labour on the farm or in a family business,
earn wages, and support their parents during old age. Upon marriage, a son brings a daughter in law
into his family, and she provides additional help around the house as well as she brings riches in the
form of dowry payments. Another important advantage of having sons is their social cultural utility. In
India patriarchal family system, having one son is essential for the continuation of the family line, and
many sons provide high status to the family. Vanaja Dhruvarajan says, When a women becomes a
mother, especially the mother of a son, her status goes up in her new home for having helped
perpetuate the family (87) Finally, the utility of having sons comes from the important religious
functions that only sons can provide. In Hindu tradition, sons are needed to do the funeral of their
deceased parents and to help in the salvation of their souls.
Daughters are considered to be an economic problem to her parents mainly because of the heavy
dowry payment demanded by the groom s family, as well as the high cost of the wedding,

Television remains an important medium in exposing the viewing public to marginalized ideas, life
styles, and varied ways of thinking. Unlike a film, which usually takes place over a self contained two

themes in deeply meaningful and personal ways. Aided by its structure and format, television
programs are able to touch people, helping to change how we all view the world. In recent years, and

make the world a safer place for transgenders and other minorities. As Jill Soloway said at the 2016
Primetime Emmy Awards, she wants to topple the patriarchy and make transgenders and members of
the LGBTQ community heroes (Huffington Post, 2016). Therefore, through examining the themes of
gender identity and religion, both themes presented in the film and in class, Transparent comments on
society s current state and proposes meaningful change.
As Transparent begins, the opening credits offer a glimpse into the ideas of gender. From the lighting
of a candle, symbolizing light into the darkness of life, to a shimmering blue dress worn by a female
impersonator the opening credits reveal the process of becoming a transgender. Transitioning from a
male to a female, or vice versa, is a feat that only a few undertake. However, in the show Transparent,

and bravery. While it is already a difficult task to come out as transgender, it is made even more
difficult in this case because Maura has to deal with many family dramas revolving around her self
absorbed children.

Narrative Of Slavery By Frederick Douglass
Kim Durr Professor S. Burns English 241 April 27, 2015 Slaves Owners Perpetuation of Slavery
Frederick Douglass s Narrative paints a very real and powerful picture of slave life. During the time
that his Narrative was written, some believed that black people were unable to contribute to society
and should simply be used as workers for white people. He shows how white slave owners maintained
power and control over their slaves by their brutal and inhumane treatment of them and by keeping
them ignorant and uneducated. Slave owners routinely kept very basic information from their slaves.
Douglass writes, I have no accurate knowledge of my age, never having seen any authentic record
containing it (Belasco 1016). Also, I do not remember to have ever met a slave who could tell of his
birthday (Belasco 1016). This is, of course, something that white children knew and most even
celebrated but for a slave to ask about was considered, improper and impertinent, and evidence of a
restless spirit (Belasco 1016). In addition to not knowing their age and date of birth, slave children

The International Monetary Fund ( Imf )
Introduction
In the statement of the 2015 Article IV Consultation Mission to China, the International Monetary
Fund (IMF) concluded that the Chinese economy was transitioning to a safer and higher quality
growth. In particular, the IMF highlighted that China had made good progress in recent years in
reducing its large current account surpluses and its huge accumulation of foreign exchange reserves.
Although undervaluation of the yuan was a major factor causing the large imbalances in the past, the
appreciation of the yuan over the past few years had brought the yuan USD exchange rate to a level
that was no longer undervalued.
Exchange rate, the price of a nation s currency in terms of another currency, indicates the value of a
currency: a higher exchange rate is associated with a relatively lower value of its corresponding
currency. Since Chinese goods are usually valued in yuan, the only currency that is valuable for
Chinese is yuan. That is, a Chinese is only interested in selling and purchasing goods in yuan. Foreign
consumers, such as Americans, have to use yuan rather than dollars to purchase goods from Chinese
sellers. Specifically, an American must exchange his dollars into yuan at first and then uses yuan to
purchase Chinese goods. In other words, the yuan USD exchange rate works as a tool to measure the
price of the dollar in yuan.
Facing the threat of trade sanctions by the U.S. Congress, China announced that it would replace its
decade old currency peg with a

Management Styles
The management culture provides the developing direction of a company. It decides the characteristic
and company culture in an enterprise. However, the style can be influenced by certain factors, such as,
policy, history background, social system, international competition. In this essay, three management
styles and two company types will be indentified and discussed.
Management style belongs to management strategy; it can be composed of operation strategy,
company culture and managers. To be specific, different management styles have distinct
characterizations, which can be divided many particular aspects. For instances, Asian styles of
management is originated from western styles; however, Asian styles and western styles have ... Show

This situation can be explained by Chinese mood. Wang (2010) indicated that the cultural background,
policy and economic conditions of the country have suffered Chinese managers to confuse the existed
management styles, which requires a new way to get accustomed to modern market. Moreover, some
internal and external factors should be considered between Chinese style and western style.
Paternalism style is used widely in Chinese state owned company. Firstly, the influence of
management style in China is competition. Obviously, as a most potential international market, more
and more western companies enter the local market, like Wal Mart. The external retail companies
including Hong Kong companies have possessed almost retail market in China. In this circumstance,
small sized private company cannot compete with magnates; only the state owned enterprise can rely
on the policy to rival magnates in this area. The reason is that western large scale companies have
developed over many years; some of them have even existed for many centuries, such as Mercedes
Benz. It has long history, 110 years, in the automotive industry, and has a mature management style
and company culture. China also has own automotive industry named Shanghai Automotive, which
has been established 30 years, but the quantity of sales are better than Mercedes Benz in China,
because the company imported the advanced technology and brand, such as Volkswagen; and it

The Artist Richard Caton Woodville
To begin, I ll be discussing question number one. Clearly, the artist Richard Caton Woodville had an
ambivalence regarding the war, as Francis K. Pohl states
(Pohl 200). He believed that the newspaper, or the Penny Presses, had a role in forming support for the
Mexican War (2). A publication of the time, The Home Journal, excerpted by Pohl: we vanquish in
order to elevate....It is a divine rather than a moral trait...to diffuse a blessing (Pohl 200). The view of
the war as a divine project was espoused by one publication at least, and I would guess that this wasn t
an uncommon philosophical stance at the time.
Woodville saw the newspaper as a publication that was unfaithful to the truth of what it reported on,
through its emphasis on the war s sensational aspects. Therefore, he saw it as the real cause of the war
(2). As printed in a publication on Woodville s work by the Schiller Institute, Woodville s advice was
not merely read between the lines ....one must rise above the fickle passions of the moment and have a
strategic view of stagecraft (2). So, I d suspect that he thought that the public s inability to see through
the literary antics of the newspaper was affecting their judgment of the war, allowing print coverage to
consciously manipulate public perspectives of it, while feigning objectivity, which involved presenting
itself as the voice of the people and the defender of the public good (Pohl 202).
Woodville, in his family, had some lineage back to

Observation On Observation
You can answer the following questions. After observing at different schools and possibly different
grades,
1. Do you still want to become a teacher? Why or why not?
After doing my observations, I still want to become a teacher. Going into this class, initially I was
hesitant and unsure if I wanted to pursue teaching, but after one full day of observing a kindergarten
class I am sure this is what I want to do with my life. Seeing the children so excited to learn really
made me happy, and I want to be able to encourage that excitement in children myself. I think
teaching is a very important job, and thought it is a little scary how much responsibility the career is, I
think I am up to the task. I would love to be able to know I am helping the world by teaching children
and giving them knowledge they can use in life, and encouraging them to learn academics and about
the real world so they can grow up and be successful adults and citizens. I really love working with
children, and I think I would enjoy teaching them what they need to know.
2. Do you still want to teach the grade you originally chose from the beginning of the semester?
Explain. If you did not have a chosen grade, do you have a better idea? Explain.
I still definitely want to teach elementary school, preferably kindergarten, 1st, or 2nd grade. I was also
slightly considering high school (my sister teaches high school and keeps trying to convince me to
teach high school as well), but after observing a high school class, I know I for sure want to stick with
elementary school. I think I work very well with children and that I could be more successful teaching
small kids, rather than teenagers. I also prefer to be with one set of kids all day, rather than 5 or more
sets of kids for an hour every day. I think it would be difficult for me to get used to having too many
sets of kids, so one set would be the best for me, and I think I could be more helpful to the children if I
was only with one set of kids all day long. I also like that in elementary school the teacher is
responsible for teaching all subjects and can create lesson plans so all the subjects relate to each other,
which I would love to do. I don t have one subject I prefer over others, so I

My Autobiography
As a kid, I was always extremely talkative. So talkative that teachers would get on to me. Teachers
would say so many different things to me, but I never let it bother me. The most common thing they
would say would be like, Kate, quit talking and go move to a different seat.
Usually, I would respond back with, Okay in an annoyed tone, because all I wanted to do was talk. I
would still find a way to talk to someone else, but after a while, I would hear my teacher say my name
again.
Kate this is your last chance to quit talking or else you re going to the office or I m going to be calling
your mom, they would say.
Okay, I would quietly respond back.
Throughout the years as I go little older I started caring about the little things people would say about
me. Like one of the little things that would bother me was when some of my friends or even some
classmate would point out how I have an accent, or how I would do things differently than them. I
became very subconscious about my speaking every single time I would talk because I felt like
everyone would be paying close attention to it. I didn t realize that as a kid that having an accent
would be that noticeable to others. Suddenly my life took a turn when I entered 5th grade. It started
out great. I had a few friends that I could communicate and hang out with, but as weeks gone by I
started to become like a closed door. I rarely said a word to any of my friends. The most I would have
talked was probably a sentence or two

Alzheimer s Disease Summary
Affinity of Cu+ for the Copper Binding Domain of the Amyloid β Peptide of Alzheimer s Disease
Summary Alzheimer s disease (AD) is part of a group of diseases called dementia and it is the most
typical type of dementia, making up about 60 80% of total dementia types. This disease is becoming
more and more prevalent as people s lifespan increases, because of the ever advancing medical field.
Additionally, the total number of Alzheimer s cases is expected to double over the next 20 years. Most
generally, it affects people over the age of 65, but can affect people as young as the age of 40 and is
the 5th leading cause of death for the elderly. Once diagnosed, a patient normally lives 1 to 10 years
and in some unusual cases, up to 20 years. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Additionally, the authors realize that the idea of the possible formation of Cu2+ Aβ species is
unresolved. They hope that by finding the dissociation constant of Cu2+ Aβ, that the issue becomes
partly resolved. This is because the dissociation constant plays a key role in vivo. If it is too high then
it will be impossible to form Cu2+ Aβ to form in the presence of human serum albumin (HSA). HSA
is found in cerebral spinal fluid. There is a strong Cu2+coordination mode, which would not allow for
sustained redox cycling of Cu2+. However, if there are significant concentrations of ascorbate it may
be possible. Overall, the authors conclude that monomeric Aβ binds more tightly to Cu+ than Cu2+
and that it is important to the in vivo oxidation state. Plus, they showed in an earlier study that the
slowness of the Cu+ Aβ helps to slow down the production of ROS, which would slow the
neurodegeneration seen in AD. Also, the amount of ascorbate that is present in extracellular fluid
could generate Cu+, even though in plasma extracellular copper is thought to only be in the Cu2+
oxidation state. The authors acknowledge that this is a controversial finding and that in vivo testing
would need to be done in order to verify their

The second article was published in the British Journal of Educational Technology and discussed the
effects of using selected network resources in web based problem solving. This research targeted a
senior high school computer class and attempted to compare the effects of using selected and open
network resources on students intentions about their information system usage by means of
technology acceptance model (TAM) questionnaires and learning effectiveness by analysis of
covariance of tests in web based problem solving activities (Hsu, 2013). The activities used in this
research project allowed students to learn from the total process of problem solving. All of these
activities were student centered and not teacher centered. The subjects of this research project were
measured on the basis of pre and post test design in which each test was composed of fifteen multiple
choice question(Hsu, 2012)s . The control group was the open source group and the experimental
group was the selected resource group. At the end of the research project each student completed a
questionnaire(Hsu, 2012).The results of this research project show that the lower and mid ability
students greatly benefited from this selected resource learning process and the advanced learners
benefited more from the open network resources. This research also showed that digital library s and

Ethos And Pathos In Lexical Warfare By Peter Ludlow
The Facebook,Instagram, and Twitter social media sites with passwords that can be hacked no matter
the strength of the password. Peter Ludlow effectively persuades using ethos, logos and pathos in the
reading What is a Hacktivist ? By talking about events that have happened to Hacktivist in the recent
years due to Lexical Warfare. Lexical Warfare irs a phrase that I like to use for battles over a term is to
be understood. When people think of hackers, the first thing to mind is people who sit on computers
all day and steal information from everyone possible. The previous sentence provides an example of
how people think of the word hacker because of what media tells people. It either gives them a good
thought if you think hacktivist are doing right or unpleasing thought because it makes people feel
unsafe since hackers can hack into whatever they please. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Then Ludlow goes on to talk about what the Lexical Warfare is which is basically how each person
translates certain words based on what they have heard or seen in media or from peers. For example
there is perception that all hackers want your information but most have not heard of Hacktivist which
hack people or take down things from the internet if they deem it morally incorrect. Later Ludlow
talks about a party attended in which a lot of Hacktivist attended and talks about the host s wife knit
hacking by knitting wool sweaters around things in town to show that all hackers uses the abilities to
steal information trying to keep them unassociated with cybercriminals. Lexical warfare affects pathos
because hackers feel judged and get bad reputation as cyber criminals , because that is what media has
put into people had that all hackers want information about

Pros And Cons Of Merit Pay
Merit Pay The controversy of the merit pay system has been a highly contentious discussion in the
field of education, most notably in my school district. As stated in the Education Commission of the
United States, merit pay is pay for performance where a teacher s compensation is tied to the
performance in the classroom (2010). While merit pay for classroom teachers has been around for
decades, it is increasingly becoming an issue around the country. As seen in my district, the issue has
become a non negotiable topic as the district is negotiating a new contract with the teacher s union.
The district s proposal to include it in the new contract in order to improve student outcomes, attract
new, highly qualified teachers to the district, and retain the proficient teachers already employed in the
schools. The political influence increased when President Barack Obama introduced the Race to the
Top Initiative. As stated in Howell Magazinnik, the Race to the Top Initiative was created to stimulate
the adoption of education reforms in the state governments of education (2017). The debate has been
ongoing surrounding the pros and cons of merit pay with both supporters and opposition. The merit
pay system will continue to have legal implications for school leaders as it impacts the rights of
teachers, but the impact on student achievement. I support merit pay as it is prescribed to tie teacher
performance to pay increases.
History of Merit Pay Historically,

Femininity, Masculinity, And Masculinity
Womanhood is often associated with femininity while manhood with masculinity. Masculinity is the
idea that men are tough both physically and mentally. Femininity, a term associated with being women
is used to describe a women s comportment and attitude. A gentle individual male or female, who
wears dresses, skirts, high heels, makeup, and has long hair would be identified as feminine.
Unfortunately, society judges and criticizes a women who do not depict feminine characteristics. Such
women are regarded as either homosexual or queer. I chose two pictures of Grace Jones to compare in
this essay since she happens to be a gender bender and victim of alike persecutions. Additionally,
Grace Jones is a supermodel and singer from Jamaica, who s renowned for cross dressing and artistic
fashion styles (Williams). The picture titled, Grace Jones/Nightclubbing, was derived from the
National Portrait Gallery, while the other from, Essense website, Jones demonstrates that women can
be feminine or soft in one picture and masculine or hard in the other picture through her appearance.
Despite being women, Jones s clothes appear manly in one picture and womanly in the other. Jones is
wearing an Armani pitch black jacket suit accompanied by a cigarette in her mouth in the first picture.
Seeing how half of her head is shaved clean, the top part cut short and flat, it would be perceived as
deviance, for men are expected to look in this manner. She stands upright, strong, which are

A Research On Trap Laws
TRAP Laws
In the summer of 2013, Senator Wendy Davis stood for eleven hours in front of her colleagues inside
the Texas State Capital Building filibustering Senate Bill 5 (SB 5) a bill that would shut down almost
all of the abortion clinics across the state. While Senator Davis was successful in her filibuster the bill
was passed at the start of the second session and went into effect in November of 2013. Bills like SB 5
are known as TRAP (Targeted Regulation of Abortion Providers) Laws that are used to shut down

This is difficult for many abortion providers to achieve due to a majority of hospitals having religious
affiliations which disapprove of abortions. HB 2 also sets clinic standards similar to surgical centers
such as; specific doorway and room requirements, staffing and anesthesia regulations among other
regulations that are not required in other outpatient clinics like birthing centers and plastic surgery
clinics. The law also requires doctors to read a prepared script to patients in order to obtain informed
consent while many of the scripts actually include medically inaccurate information like abortions

organizations such as American Medical Association (AMA) and the American College of
Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) and are used solely to persuade patients against an abortion.

requiring mandatory transvaginal ultrasounds, even if an ultrasound has already done another one

Anger isn t serene or tranquility, its an outburst of frustration. Anger is holding your breath till your face turns blue and not being able to breathe. Anger is a feeling of resentment and rage (DEFINITION). It s a feeling of hatred towards someone or something. Anger can build and build inside of you for so long that one day you will just snap. You will start hollering at everyone for something they didn t do and will start punching, throwing, or tearing things up. Sometimes when people express their anger they may become belligerent. Why do people get anger? Is it something that inherited from generation to generation or is just a feeling built up inside for so long that you just become annoyed with everything in life? Anger is an undesirable feeling to have. You start to feel sick to your stomach or start to have a rush of adrenaline to your head or heart. There are different ways people can cope with anger. • 3. An Analysis Of Haraway s Manifesto Manifesto Essay In a world invested in (overly) determined biological authenticity, its margins will be populated by the identified and self identifying cyborgs. This is not a coincidence. Haraway s Manifesto strongly suggests that in such a mixed subjugated population emergent opportunities for political alliances based on affinities thrives. She reminds us that cyborgs do not/cannot respect traditional boundaries and are therefore driven by survival (294) imperatives to reach across, to break through, to shatter windows and ceilings, to ultimately be fluid and flow between hardened boundaries and between worlds of status quo. In other words, to not only create patchwork identities but to construct political understandings and positions through patchwork or coalition politics. For alliances to work there must first be alignments. Haraway locates these through Sandoval (2000) who in Methodology for The Oppressed, notes a connectivity between the mestiza consciousness that emerges from the Anzalduan borderlands where feminists of color keep intact shifting and multiple identities with integrity and love and the commitment to partiality, irony, intimacy and perversity of cyborgs (168) . It becomes salient to highlight how these shifting and multiple identities are survival mechanisms activated in response to being othered by dominant politics and those who espouse them. Both feminists of color and cyborgs have utilized these mechanisms by recreating themselves in response, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Clinton has the most experience with the issue, as she has been arguing for a fix to this problem, her entire career. Clinton proposes she keeps the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare), building on the success and reducing the cost for the program. She also proposes to handle excessive price setting for medical companies, out of pockets costs, and providing credit to those facing higher health expenses. Trump, on the other hand, wants to completely get rid of the Obamacare, and focus on a more patient centered health care system. Trump wants families and doctors to be the main decision makers in medical situations, as well as pushing to make affordable health care across state lines. Both candidates have a helpful improvements that could be used to improve healthcare. Though, I feel as though the removal/improvement of Obamacare should really be up to the people. Trump wants to get rid of Obamacare, but we have yet to hear of a substitute plan/program for people to use or have. Clinton has a nice eye for improvement, but many people have suffered from Obamacare. Clinton s idea will most likely take time, and time is of the essence. It s easier to improve something that has already been laid out, but it can also be a risky move, as it can put more people into poverty by the time you ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Tao Te Ching Analysis Tao Te Ching: A Self Help Book for Americans There is no question that America is one of the most self centered countries in the world, and because of this, we tend to avoid situations and issues that have no immediate impact on us. Desensitization on this large of a scale can be dangerous, and it is imperative that we begin to relearn traits such as kindness and compassion. The Tao Te Ching, while not very familiar to the average westerner, is filled with numerous verses that speak directly about the negative aspects of American culture and how we should be behaving. • 12. The Components Of Virtuous Leadership Scholz Posted Date: September 21, 2017 6:52 AMStatus:Published Victor, Negative organizational climate is something that has become quite of an issue at my workplace. It tends to go in somewhat of a downward spiral one person will become disgruntled about something and start complaining, this grumbling creates a negative environment, more people become disgruntled and join in, and the cycle continues. Virtuous leadership can help break this cycle of negativity and boost positivity within the organization climate. Even as coworkers, we can display the components of virtuous leadership by focusing on the greater good and portraying trust, integrity, and forgiveness (Kinicki Fugate, 2012). Essentially, we can be a light to those in our workplace and combat the spreading, negative darkness (Matthew 5:14 16, New International Version). Whenever we form a group or team at my job one of the first things we do is assign and define roles and responsibilities. Motivation and satisfaction of team members can be increased when they are assigned roles congruent with individual strengths and abilities (Fischer, n.d.). This task could help eliminate your issues concerning role conflict. When a group has an assigned leader it can function without the continual question of who is in charge. Additionally, assigned roles can help with your groups competition of what individual or job is most important; everyone can recognize the uniqueness of each individual s ... • 13. How Does Marlowe Use Pastoral Conventions Pastoral convention has been used in literature as far back as Homer. ( Pastoral: Poetic Term ) The technique features an idealized portrayal of rural life and scenery. It was extremely popular during the XVI century. In his poem The Passionate Shepherd To His Love, Christopher Marlowe uses this convention heavily; this incited the writings of numerous response poems, which ranged from humorous parodies to equally rosy replies on behalf of the shepherd s lover. One such response is The Nymph s Reply written by Sir Walter Raleigh. Raleigh s poem features a blatant difference in tone from Marlowe s, as the nymph denies the shepherd s unblushing declaration of love by rephrasing all the shepherd s statements in realistic terms. The stark contrast in the tone and language used by Raleigh and Marlowe highlight their opposing views of rural life. (line 8) Raleigh s poem is a rejection of both the shepherd s invitation and the concept of idealizing of the pastoral lifestyle. All things considered, Marlowe s The Passionate Shepherd To His Love is a vast declaration of love illustrated with pastoral convention. • 14. Female Infanticide and Foeticide Essay Female Infanticide and Foeticide It is regrettable that female infanticide and foeticide are rapidly decreasing the female population throughout India. The main factors that is responsible for the increase in the incidence of female infanticide and foeticide is the low status of women, son preference, and the practice of dowry across all casts groups. The low status of women and girls is due to cultural beliefs and the material cost they represent to their families. Vanaja Dhruvarajan says that there is a belief regarding the nature of men and women: Men are ritually pure, physically strong, and emotionally mature; women, on the other hand, are ritually pollutable, physically weak, and lack strong willpower (30). Therefore, they become dependent on men, whether it is the father, the husband or the son. The preference for male children is due to three major reasons. One is the economic value of having sons. Sons are more likely than daughters to provide family labour on the farm or in a family business, earn wages, and support their parents during old age. Upon marriage, a son brings a daughter in law into his family, and she provides additional help around the house as well as she brings riches in the form of dowry payments. Another important advantage of having sons is their social cultural utility. In India patriarchal family system, having one son is essential for the continuation of the family line, and many sons provide high status to the family. Vanaja Dhruvarajan says, When a women becomes a mother, especially the mother of a son, her status goes up in her new home for having helped perpetuate the family (87) Finally, the utility of having sons comes from the important religious functions that only sons can provide. In Hindu tradition, sons are needed to do the funeral of their deceased parents and to help in the salvation of their souls. During the time that his Narrative was written, some believed that black people were unable to contribute to society and should simply be used as workers for white people. He shows how white slave owners maintained power and control over their slaves by their brutal and inhumane treatment of them and by keeping them ignorant and uneducated. Slave owners routinely kept very basic information from their slaves. Douglass writes, I have no accurate knowledge of my age, never having seen any authentic record containing it (Belasco 1016). Also, I do not remember to have ever met a slave who could tell of his birthday (Belasco 1016). This is, of course, something that white children knew and most even celebrated but for a slave to ask about was considered, improper and impertinent, and evidence of a restless spirit (Belasco 1016). • 19. The International Monetary Fund ( Imf ) Introduction In the statement of the 2015 Article IV Consultation Mission to China, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) concluded that the Chinese economy was transitioning to a safer and higher quality growth. In particular, the IMF highlighted that China had made good progress in recent years in reducing its large current account surpluses and its huge accumulation of foreign exchange reserves. Although undervaluation of the yuan was a major factor causing the large imbalances in the past, the appreciation of the yuan over the past few years had brought the yuan USD exchange rate to a level that was no longer undervalued. Exchange rate, the price of a nation s currency in terms of another currency, indicates the value of a currency: a higher exchange rate is associated with a relatively lower value of its corresponding currency. Since Chinese goods are usually valued in yuan, the only currency that is valuable for Chinese is yuan. That is, a Chinese is only interested in selling and purchasing goods in yuan. Foreign consumers, such as Americans, have to use yuan rather than dollars to purchase goods from Chinese sellers. Specifically, an American must exchange his dollars into yuan at first and then uses yuan to purchase Chinese goods. In other words, the yuan USD exchange rate works as a tool to measure the price of the dollar in yuan. Firstly, the influence of management style in China is competition. Obviously, as a most potential international market, more and more western companies enter the local market, like Wal Mart. The external retail companies including Hong Kong companies have possessed almost retail market in China. • 25. The Artist Richard Caton Woodville To begin, I ll be discussing question number one. Clearly, the artist Richard Caton Woodville had an ambivalence regarding the war, as Francis K. Pohl states (Pohl 200). He believed that the newspaper, or the Penny Presses, had a role in forming support for the Mexican War (2). A publication of the time, The Home Journal, excerpted by Pohl: we vanquish in order to elevate....It is a divine rather than a moral trait...to diffuse a blessing (Pohl 200). The view of the war as a divine project was espoused by one publication at least, and I would guess that this wasn t an uncommon philosophical stance at the time. Woodville saw the newspaper as a publication that was unfaithful to the truth of what it reported on, through its emphasis on the war s sensational aspects. Therefore, he saw it as the real cause of the war (2). As printed in a publication on Woodville s work by the Schiller Institute, Woodville s advice was not merely read between the lines ....one must rise above the fickle passions of the moment and have a strategic view of stagecraft (2). So, I d suspect that he thought that the public s inability to see through the literary antics of the newspaper was affecting their judgment of the war, allowing print coverage to consciously manipulate public perspectives of it, while feigning objectivity, which involved presenting itself as the voice of the people and the defender of the public good (Pohl 202). Why or why not? After doing my observations, I still want to become a teacher. Seeing the children so excited to learn really made me happy, and I want to be able to encourage that excitement in children myself. I think teaching is a very important job, and thought it is a little scary how much responsibility the career is, I think I am up to the task. I also prefer to be with one set of kids all day, rather than 5 or more sets of kids for an hour every day. I think it would be difficult for me to get used to having too many sets of kids, so one set would be the best for me, and I think I could be more helpful to the children if I was only with one set of kids all day long. Additionally, the authors realize that the idea of the possible formation of Cu2+ Aβ species is unresolved. They hope that by finding the dissociation constant of Cu2+ Aβ, that the issue becomes partly resolved. This is because the dissociation constant plays a key role in vivo. If it is too high then it will be impossible to form Cu2+ Aβ to form in the presence of human serum albumin (HSA). HSA is found in cerebral spinal fluid. There is a strong Cu2+coordination mode, which would not allow for sustained redox cycling of Cu2+. However, if there are significant concentrations of ascorbate it may be possible. Peter Ludlow effectively persuades using ethos, logos and pathos in the reading What is a Hacktivist ? By talking about events that have happened to Hacktivist in the recent years due to Lexical Warfare. Lexical Warfare irs a phrase that I like to use for battles over a term is to be understood. When people think of hackers, the first thing to mind is people who sit on computers all day and steal information from everyone possible. The previous sentence provides an example of how people think of the word hacker because of what media tells people. It either gives them a good thought if you think hacktivist are doing right or unpleasing thought because it makes people feel unsafe since hackers can hack into whatever they please. ... Then Ludlow goes on to talk about what the Lexical Warfare is which is basically how each person translates certain words based on what they have heard or seen in media or from peers. For example there is perception that all hackers want your information but most have not heard of Hacktivist which hack people or take down things from the internet if they deem it morally incorrect. Later Ludlow talks about a party attended in which a lot of Hacktivist attended and talks about the host s wife knit hacking by knitting wool sweaters around things in town to show that all hackers uses the abilities to steal information trying to keep them unassociated with cybercriminals. Lexical warfare affects pathos because hackers feel judged and get bad reputation as cyber criminals , because that is what media has put into people had that all hackers want information about ... • 35. Pros And Cons Of Merit Pay Merit Pay The controversy of the merit pay system has been a highly contentious discussion in the field of education, most notably in my school district. As stated in the Education Commission of the United States, merit pay is pay for performance where a teacher s compensation is tied to the performance in the classroom (2010). While merit pay for classroom teachers has been around for decades, it is increasingly becoming an issue around the country. As seen in my district, the issue has become a non negotiable topic as the district is negotiating a new contract with the teacher s union. The district s proposal to include it in the new contract in order to improve student outcomes, attract new, highly qualified teachers to the district, and retain the proficient teachers already employed in the schools. The political influence increased when President Barack Obama introduced the Race to the Top Initiative. As stated in Howell Magazinnik, the Race to the Top Initiative was created to stimulate the adoption of education reforms in the state governments of education (2017). The debate has been ongoing surrounding the pros and cons of merit pay with both supporters and opposition. The merit pay system will continue to have legal implications for school leaders as it impacts the rights of teachers, but the impact on student achievement. I support merit pay as it is prescribed to tie teacher performance to pay increases. History of Merit Pay Historically, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Femininity, a term associated with being women is used to describe a women s comportment and attitude. A gentle individual male or female, who wears dresses, skirts, high heels, makeup, and has long hair would be identified as feminine. Unfortunately, society judges and criticizes a women who do not depict feminine characteristics. Such women are regarded as either homosexual or queer. I chose two pictures of Grace Jones to compare in this essay since she happens to be a gender bender and victim of alike persecutions. Additionally, Grace Jones is a supermodel and singer from Jamaica, who s renowned for cross dressing and artistic fashion styles (Williams). The picture titled, Grace Jones/Nightclubbing, was derived from the National Portrait Gallery, while the other from, Essense website, Jones demonstrates that women can be feminine or soft in one picture and masculine or hard in the other picture through her appearance. Despite being women, Jones s clothes appear manly in one picture and womanly in the other. Jones is wearing an Armani pitch black jacket suit accompanied by a cigarette in her mouth in the first picture. Seeing how half of her head is shaved clean, the top part cut short and flat, it would be perceived as deviance, for men are expected to look in this manner. She stands upright, strong, which are ...
