The document describes the planning and execution of an event called "Het Paard van Troje" held at an independent bookstore in the Netherlands. Long term preparations included collaborating with the bookstore owner and developing a concept featuring activities in the store during the day and a reception at night. Short term preparations involved advertising, decorating, and setting up interactive areas, a photo exhibition, and entertainment. The daytime event gave visitors a guided tour through different activity areas in the store. That evening, there was live music and drinks. While some aspects did not go as planned, the organizers felt the event was generally a success in promoting the bookstore.
This is the story of The Rose Family, a story about how the holocaust era and kristallnacht ripped the family apart. Who survived and who did not? Presented by two daughters from the second generation, Darci Pierce and Elise Rose.
For a Film Museum, marketing plays a vital role although cinema’s involvement makes it popular and famous
Film Museum’s in western countries are successful in celebrating their cinema and culture
For a country like India with even diverse and rich Cinema background, a successful Film museum is still a distant dream

Working with "Image Whisperers" for Voluntary Audio Description (ARSAD Barcel...Susanne Verberk
As professional audio description is gradually getting more and more established in the Dutch speaking parts of Belgium, the demand for this service is on the rise as well. However, sometimes hiring professional audio describers for an event is not feasible because of practical and budgetary reasons. One of the ways to cater for the needs of VIPs during such events might be the use of voluntary audio describers.
In September - December 2013 and February 2014, the Brussels Museum Council called upon voluntary “Image Whisperers” to guide VIPs for two different events (the weekly nocturnes between September and December 2013 and the Museum Night Fever event of 22 February 2014), working in close collaboration with Intro and CAP Patrimoine (both specialised in making events accessible for people with a disability), Les Amis des Aveugles / De Vrienden der Blinden (an organisation representing VIPs) and Nevero (a company specialised in AVT). Prior to the events the Image Whisperers would get a training in how to guide a VIP as well as a basic introduction in AD principles.
In this paper I will give a brief overview of the project, from different angles (the Museum Council’s point of view, the describers’ experience, and, most importantly, the VIPs’ feedback). Moreover, I will point out what the pros and cons are in working with volunteer describers and discuss the possible pitfalls for those who might be interested in setting up a similar project in their own country.
Time Travel Hotel by Clive Birnie - SampleBurning Eye
Black McCarthy is despatched to INTERFOLD – The Time Travel Hotel Republic to track down “Eugenides”. His client, the Wolf, is on his back demanding progress as INTERFOLD keeps shifting time and place, throwing up residency and immigration anomalies as it does so. Help of a kind is on hand via the Dwarf with the Horse, the Man Who Fell Through Floors, the Girl With Nine Lives, the Nurse With The Curse, and Joylin – the INTERFOLD receptionist. But who is Eugenides? The ManWho Lived in a Vacuum Cleaner? The Man Who Dreamt He Was Dreaming? One of the other oddball residents? Is winding up naked in a sauna elevator in the Car Park at Infinity really going to help track him down? Unfortunately for Black, his client is not the only one who wants Eugenides found, Black is possibly the worst detective money can buy and time is not only against him but ignoring all the usual rules. Beneath the black humour, Time Travel Hotel is an exploration of identity and whether we are defined by a place of origin, residence, citizenship or by the decisions that propel us through life. It is a book about regret and missed opportunities. A book about going back – if only you could.

When I Grow Up I Want To Be Mary Beard by Megan BeechBurning Eye
Burning Eye seeks to break down some of the barriers that are put up between young poets and publishers to make it more accessible for poets to put work out early in their career. This chapbook from Megan Beech is the third example of Burning Eye working with a young poet in this way. Although still in her second year at University Megan has already caught attention with her infectious reeling wordplay, but, as is already evident in When I Grow Up I Want to be Mary Beard, she is quickly moving on into more complex writing. Megan is not afraid of speaking her mind and grappling with political themes with a confidence missing in many older poets. When I Grow Up To Be Mary Beard captures the sound of a resurgent feminism that demands to be heard and marks Megan out as a name to watch.

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.
