Psychotherapy for addictions review 2 2015Olga Tuchina

Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.

We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.
TESDA TM1 REVIEWER FOR NATIONAL ASSESSMENT WRITTEN AND ORAL QUESTIONS WITH A...
Antoinique's Synthesis Presentation
1.
2. MOTIVATION FOR TAKING CLASS
• The class seemed interesting
• I needed an extra elective
• I wanted to expand my knowledge on
technology
• I was Interested in the various ways you
can learn with different technologies
4. SUMMARY ABOUT THE CONCEPT OF LEARNING
PREFRENCES
• Learning preferences are used to determine the
strengths and weaknesses in the ways people
obtain and review information. It is important
for one to know their learning preference so
that they can have a better chance towards
success in their studies. Learning preferences
can be used as an an advantage in and outside
of the classroom. This technique can help
people in general to become more organized
and have a better understanding in the ways
they feel comfortable learning.
5. LEARNING PATHWAY AT BEGINNING OF CLASS
• At the beginning of class I chose the pathway of
learning sage:
•
because I wanted to get a general knowledge on how
to use different technologies with learning.
• I wanted to have an open mind while experimenting
with all of the technologies.
6. ACTIVITIES CONTRIBUTED TO COMPLETING MY
PATHWAY
. I believe I was successful in the pathway
of learning sage because I got
information on how the different
technologies work through class
lectures and PowerPoint’s. I was also
able to get a broad overview of each
technology by working with my peers
and being able to read their responses
on the variety of technologies and
research some of the questions they had
about them.
7. TOP 3 TECHNOLOGIES EXPLORED FOR
LEARNING
•
I believe viewing the lectures and taking quizzes on each technology
gave me a broad overview on each of the technologies. The lectures
explained how the technologies functioned and gave me insight on what
I would be able to do when using the different technologies. Overall I
believe multimedia provided this broad overview because I was able to
distinguish the strengths and weaknesses of combining technology and
learn how each one work in there own way. The Games quest gave me a
deeper understanding on the ways technology can be helpful for
learning. I believe games provided a deeper learning because I was able
to play the games myself and see how they relate to learning. I felt
games were the quest that I was able to gain a significant amount of
information because I am normally not a person who loves to play
them. I believe Social networks worked best for learning for others. I
was able to learn how effective social networks are when doing group
work, and how easy it is to access tutors or help through using
technology. Through social networks I found how ideas can be shared
and combined to form new conclusions.
8. SYNTHESIS OF EXPERIENCE USING DIFF.
TECHNOLOGIES
•
I found each technology used for learning
to be unique in there own way. I gained an
extreme amount of information on learning
and technology by completing this class.
Using the different technologies for classes
and my job kept me interested in the
subjects I was studying. Overall I enjoyed
exploring each technology because I had
an opportunity to explore their benefits and
weaknesses.
9. SYNTHESIS OF INTEGRATED KNOWLEDGE OF
PHYSIOLOGICAL FACTORS
• Through taking this class I was able to reflect
on my daily routines that contribute to my
learning process. I was able to see the affects
of eating healthy vs. eating fast foods through
out the day. I was also able to see a change in
sleep patterns and how important it is to receive
8 hours of sleep each night. It was interesting
to learn how daily exercises reduces overall
stress within the mind and body.
10. SUMMARY OF HOW I WILL USE THIS MATERIAL
AFTER THIS SEMESTER
• I will continue to explore different
learning strategies to improve in my
weaknesses . I will remain using my iPad
to take notes for my job presentation so
that I will be able to stay organized with
my notes. I will continue to use games as
a way to study whenever I find that a
subject is boring or that I am having a
difficult time with it. I will use games
because I found it very exciting and it
easily grasp my attention.
12. SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE OVERALL
•
Overall I enjoyed taking this class as it was
as fun as I predicted it to be when I signed
up for it. After taking this class I am glad to
say that I know more about technology
then I ever did before when focusing on
learning. I enjoyed having the experiencing
of working with my peers by giving them
feedback and viewing their opinions. I feel
that I have accomplish many goals through
taking this class. The class within itself
was definitely a success.
