The document discusses the best form of learning support parents can provide. It argues that parents being physically present and actively involved in a child's learning leads to more effective learning. However, Jeremy's parents are too busy and uninvolved in his life. They give him many tasks and enrichment classes but do not spend quality time with him or support his learning in a positive way. The document recommends that Jeremy's parents change to an authoritative parenting style by being more caring and supportive while still holding high expectations.

Importance of home environment for a child's life
Introduction
All in all, having a child grow up in a family environment is very important for the child. The good environment of the family leads to seeking out better relationships, and the child will have better communication skills and social skills. In this way, children will be better prepared for school. The healthy environment of the family helps children to gain success in life. Children learn from their parents and from the family environment. From the family, the child will learn how to survive in society. The first relationship we make with the family will determine other relationships that the child will have. The child will learn to make further relationships. If the family members treat the child with respect and care, then the child will automatically respect others and establish good relationships with others.
Explanation
The qualities of the child will come from the quality of relationship with its family. Family is also beneficial for the children's self-confidence. Children should be allowed to express themselves on issues they might be facing. Besides, they should also be allowed to state their opinion on some problems in the family. This will make them feel valued and appreciated.
They will grow up with confidence and will be responsible adults. They will develop communication skills which are very important in life. People who can communicate well are more likely to be good leaders and are also live happier lives. Growing up in a stable and smooth environment gives the child the ability to fight with difficulties and face the world without worry. A strong connection with the family makes the child friendly and leads to more happiness and comfort in life. In a family, the mother is always more careful about the children. Children will learn the ethics of life from their mothers, and the mother will set the base to learn other aspects of life in children. The mother has more capacity to tolerate the mistakes of children, and she will always forgive the mistakes. The mother will teach the lesson by pointing out the child's mistakes.
On the other hand, the reaction of fathers can be sometimes harsh, and they are strict. The strictness is also needed for children in the early days, which does not mean beating the child due to his mistakes. The strictness should be implemented when the company of the children is bad. The family should restrict their children to go out and join the wrong companies.
Additionally, the parents should be good role models for the children. This is because children tend to emulate the behavior of their parents. Several studies have been done on parenting, and they have confirmed this. If the parent wants their children to have good morals, they should demonstrate good behavior to them. I ...

Brandon who is an African – American eight-year-old who is in third grade has shown disinterest in academics. His tendencies of always complaining that he is hungry and bored in class will other kids are reading and even draws pictures, not only does it show that the child is not interested in school, but he is mentally traumatized and that there are other factors that are making him not to focus. The incident of wetting his bed occasionally also has to deal with psychological effects and the surroundings that Brandon is subjected to. The paper will dwell on the issues that majorly affect the behaviors of a child and how the surrounding environment in which a child is subjected to can affect how they behave.
To give to explanations on the behavior of a child bearing in mind the ecological factors that the child is subjected to the following are some of the inference that can be drawn. A child behavior is determined by the environment which he or she grows in. In a child grows in a family that domestic violence is prevalent then the chances of that child being a bully and violent are very high. Most children learn through hearing and seeing. Whatever they will hear be it at home or from their neighbors then the likelihood of the child repeating this is very high. In Brandon’s situation of complaining to be bored can be assumed to have been taken from his father’s action of sleeping after losing his job. Parents are supposed to set an example to the kids, and thus they create an atmosphere in which their kids can grow to become great men and women in the society.
When the father fails to get out and go to look for a job, then it shows that he has completely lost hope in life and finds everything boring and this can be easily reciprocated to the children since they will get to hear what their father is saying and doing. The parental behavior plays a major role in transforming the behavior of the child. The psychological effect that this bears is that the child will become more aggressive from this situation since the father is frustrated and he may decide to vent his anger to the kids this will, in turn, make the child rebellious in trying to show that he can be bale to defend himself or herself.
The social environment also plays a key role in that the kid can associate with his neighbors; they will, in turn, tend to borrow and exchange behaviors that will affect how they relate. In Brandon’s scenario it will be assumed that he is not from a well of family and thus they are struggling to make ends meet and settling the bill, this, therefore, leads us to the inclination that the neighbo ...

2. Hypothesis If parents are physically present and participating actively in the child's learning process, then the child is likely to learn effectively.
3. Against the hypothesis, we agree that If parents are physically present and participating actively in the child's learning process, then the child is likely to learn effectively. Refer to the scenario, we can see that Jeremy stay lonely at home as he gets to see his maid more than his parent. Besides, he have to complete all the task given by his parent every night even though he is tired. According to Bronfenbrenner’s Bioecological Theory, parents and other caregivers are perhaps the most powerful influences on children’s
4. personal development(Landry, Smitg, & Swank, 2006; Soenens et al.,2007). Besides, research suggests that effective teachers involve parents in their children's education, creating links between two important elements of the Microsystems(Epstein,2011). Therefore, Jeremy parent should create a caring and loving environment to Jeremy because parents actually influence on their child outweighs that of any teacher or peoples around them. If child was not motivated in their learning, parents love,
5. encouragement, and support can make everything difference. Parents can helping them emerge with a strong sense of self-confidence and the determination to succeed. Besides create a loving and caring environment to Jeremy, the best form of support is positive reinforcement. Positive reinforcement is the process of increasing the frequency or duration of a behavior as the result of presenting a reinforcer under Behaviorist Theory.
6. In the scenario, we can see that if Jeremy couldn’t get a good result in the exam his parent will stop him to the swimming lesson which he enjoy much. Therefore, Jeremy force himself to finish up the task given by his parent and ignore the school homework due to he scare his parent will take off his favorite swimming lesson. To solve this problem, Jeremy parent should use positive reinforcement instead of negative reinforcement. For example, Jeremy parent suppose to say that to Jeremy, “you may go to swimming
7. lesson if you could complete the task given by teachers in school.” With the positive reinforcement, Jeremy will try to complete the task given by teachers. As we know, parenting style is a general patterns of increasing with and disciplining children and it may effect children learning. Healthy parent-child relationships promote personal development by helping children acquire a sense of autonomy, competence, and belonging (Christenson & Havsy,2004). In the scenario, we can see that Jeremy parent
8. parenting style is uninvolved parenting style which they have little interest in Jeremy life and hold few expectation. From what we can see, Jeremy parent are too busy until spend less time at home. When Jeremy form teacher Ms Low try to contact them regarding Jeremy’s conduct in school, they never pick up the call and also never return the call as promise. Besides, Jeremy parent also arrange a lot of task, tuition class, study camps and enrichment class to Jeremy. Jeremy life is ruled by the timetable which cause him do not have enough time to take rest and doze off in class.
9. Besides, Jeremy also force himself to complete the task given by his parent on top of the homework from school as he scare his parent will take out his swimming lesson. Therefore, Jeremy parent parenting style was not only affecting Jeremy characteristic but also in his learning. To solve this problem, we suggest Jeremy parent to change their parenting style to authoritative parenting style which are firm but caring, explain reasons for rules, and are consistent and also have high expectations.
