This study examined the relationship between self-esteem and body image in 80 female undergraduate students aged 17-22 years. Two standardized scales were used to measure self-esteem and body image: Rosenberg's Self-Esteem Scale and the Body Image Questionnaire. The results found a significant positive correlation between self-esteem and body image, indicating that higher levels of self-esteem are associated with more positive body image. The study concludes with implications for prevention programs aimed at developing positive body image and self-esteem in young women.
