Enactus is an international non-profit organization that aims to empower people and improve their quality of life through student-led community projects. Student teams develop and implement outreach projects targeting areas like education, entrepreneurship, and sustainability. Projects are presented each year at regional and national competitions where they are judged by business executives. National champion teams advance to the Enactus World Cup. At Maitreyi College, the Enactus team follows a model with four departments led by vice presidents - Projects, Administration/Finance, Marketing, and Recruitment. Students can apply to join as a vice president or executive member by filling out a Google form. Selection involves a group discussion and personal interview.

Mentoring and Growth
Mentoring involves a relationship between an experienced person and an inexperienced person, where the experienced person provides guidance and support to help the inexperienced person achieve their goals and develop skills. Effective mentoring requires good matching between mentor and mentee, structure, and commitment from both parties. Mentoring programs can benefit organizations, mentees, and mentors by facilitating learning and career development, sharing knowledge, and improving employee retention.
