 We have three meals a day.

BREAKFAST LUNCH DINNER
 The food that we eat between two meals are
called snacks.
 We have special food during
festivals.
 Babies have soft
food as they do not have teeth.
 Old people and patients
have special food suitable
for their health.
 Sweats are very important during festivals.
 Different types of food is prepared during
different festivals.
 Some food items can be eaten raw and some
have to be cooked.
Raw food
Cooked food
 Wash your hands before and after eating.
 Chew your food well.
 Close your mouth while eating.
 Do not watch television while eating food.
 Eat at fixed time.
 Do not waste food.
 Drink atleast 6-8 glasses of water everyday.
 Do not eat food that is kept open for a long
time.
 Drink 6-8 glasses of water everyday.
We get food from plants and animals.
 Food that is good for our healthy is called
healthy food.eg;fruits, vegetables, milk,
pulses, nuts, grains, meat,eggs.
 Food that is not good for our health is called
unhealthy or junk food.eg; kurkure,chips
,chocolates,pizza,burger,maggi.
