Pollution is the introduction of harmful
substances or products into the environment.
There are 3 major types of Pollution.

It is defined as any atmospheric
condition in which certain
substances are present in such
concentrations that they produce
undesirable effects on humans
and environment.

 Ex: sulfur dioxide released from
burning fossil fuel .
 Secondary

 Primary pollutants react with other
primary pollutants or water vapor
to make a new substance
 Ex: sulfur dioxide mixes with water
in atmosphere and causes acid rain
