The document contains summaries of print, bus, website banner, and tube/train advertisements created by four people for a new water product called Jeto. Person 1 created a print ad featuring Jennifer Aniston to promote the product using celebrity endorsement. Person 2 designed a simple bus ad with a picture of the product against a white background to make it stand out. Person 3 suggested placing a banner ad on the Premier League website to target sports enthusiasts. Their banner ad features an image and slogan for Jeto. Finally, Person 4 was inspired by an Evian tube station ad to create an eye-catching Jeto ad for the tube using bright colors and a memorable slogan.

In this advert Glaceau have used celebrity endorsement to sell their products to
their target audience. They have also included their product, smart water, in the
advert to show the audience what they are selling and allowing them to become
familiar with the product. The colours used are very simple with light shades of
blue over a black and white photograph of Jennifer Aniston, this helps for the
‘smartwater’ logo to stand out further.
This company uses simplicity in their advert to make the
product stand out. They interpret the information that they
want the audience to know through a short sentence with
bold, clear text. There is a plain background which means that
there is nothing to distract the customers from the product. An
image of a sports glove image has been placed around the
bottle to demonstrate the effectiveness of the new bottle with
extra grip.

This is a bus advert by Coca Cola. Coca Cola produces drinks and
so their print adverts will be relevant to our new water. A
picture of the product has been included to make it clear what
is being advertised and this is something that we will need to do
in our adverts. I like how simple it is in terms of colouring. The
white allows it to stand out from the red of the bus which is
effective, and the choice of red and white works well. Although
it is simple, it is also bold and this will allow it to stand out.
Ensuring that an advert stands out is very important and is key
to attracting attention to the product your advertising.
This is a bus advert by Lucozade and covers the entirety of the
back of the bus. The advert has an orange theme which links
into the theme of the product. It features 3 big characters
immerging from flames and this is a great attention attracter.
The advert focuses on power, so the use of this picture works
well and is highly effective. I like how they have used such
bold colours, font and images and this is something that we
could consider when creating our adverts. Lucozade's
advertising techniques will be useful for us since they also
focus on sports and providing for athletes.
5. PERSON 2 ADVERT (bus advert): Georgia Rt
This is my advert for our product which will feature on the back of a
bus. I planned to keep it simple and using the advice from Coca Cola,
wanted to keep the background white as it allows it to stand out
from the red of the bus. I also placed a picture of the product as this
allows people to see exactly what is being advertised. I am happy
with this advert and its simplicity.
6. PERSON 3 RESEARCH (website banner): Lily Curtis
The website I have chosen for our online advert to go on it the Barclays Premier League
website: http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb.html
I have chosen this website because our product is aimed for sports enthusiasts so I thought that if I put it on a football website it
will advertise our product well and more customers that enjoy sports will see this product.
The first banner on their website is a Barclays bank advert. This has the best advertising
space on the website because it is the company so they want to promote their other
features more e.g. their banking.
They then have a side advert which promotes pure gym. This is because some people who
watch football are also football enthusiasts so they promote a gym so that if people wanted
to stay healthy like football players they could join a gym to achieve this.
The last advertisement on this website it a film advert/trailer which is aimed for boys/men,
this is more likely because boys/men are more likely to go on this website so they are going
to advertise these films more.
We plan to put our advert down the side of the website.
Hopefully, it will attract the attention of the visitors of the page
and perhaps sports enthusiasts- our target audience.
8. PERSON 4 RESEARCH (tube/train advert): Josh Brown
This is an Evian tube station advert this is used to create an distraction to
people visiting the train station. This make people believe that this water
will make them young again hence the Evian baby t-shirts. This gives my
group huge inspiration as it makes us think of captivating ideas we can do
when we come to advertising our product. I think that Evian have done a
simple advert to make more people understand the concept of the water.
This has helped hugely because it help us think of our own or
interpretations for our product. After looking at Evian's interesting
adverts it has ,made us feel a lot more confident about advertising. This
has been a huge help. Putting these adverts in busy places including Bus
Stops, Tube Stations and billboards it helps bring more attention to the
product resulting in a more popular product. This would help create a
better fan base and more costumers will buy the product. I think this
implies that a good advert in the right place can help massively in getting
your product of the ground and well heard about.
9. PERSON 4 ADVERT (tube/train advert): Josh Brown
This was my Jeto tube advert. What I have
attempted to do was create a simple, eye-
catching and unique advert. This was to simply
create people’s attention whilst walking past
the advert and deciding to buy the product.
This hopefully will create a bigger fan base for
our product. We as a team decided to use
bright colours including Green, Red and Blue
We thought these were all eye catching colours
that worked perfectly as it didn’t make our
product look to in your face. We done a black
slogan on a white background to make it easily
readable, this was so people would get this in
the head and unforgettable.
