This presentation evaluated a teacher training project in Burundi that introduced Moodle to educate masses. It discussed ICT challenges in Africa and Burundi like low access, skills, and infrastructure. A Moodle training program trained 40 participants from 5 universities. Data collection found most had no prior experience. Feedback was positive with most able to use Moodle basics. While challenges remain, Moodle can educate masses if access and resources improve, and policies support online and blended learning through teacher training and technology infrastructure.
