This document discusses the rise of "iKids" - children and students who have grown up with ubiquitous technology and digital media. It describes how iKids collect information, play, express themselves, and learn through experimenting with available tools. iKids are found in homes, museums, schools, and learn on a global scale through video conferencing and online sharing. The document argues that schools need new forms, strategies, and focus to meet the needs of iKids, including embracing technology, varied teaching styles, and cloud-based learning environments that allow learning anywhere, anytime.
