once, many times, several times, before, so far,
already, yet, etc.
Example:
 I have seen that movie twenty times.
 I think I have met him once before.
 There have been many earthquakes in California.
 People have traveled to the Moon.
 People have not traveled to Mars.
 Have you read the book yet?
 Nobody has ever climbed that mountain.
SINCE / FOR
 For + a period of time (for six years, for a week, for a
month, for hours, for two hours.)
- I have taught English for 12 years.
 Since + a point in time (since this morning, since last
week, since yesterday,)
- I have taught English since 2001.
ALREADY/ YET
 Note: Already is going to be used: in question
and answers in positive, and yet is going to be
used in answers in negative.
 Example:
 Have you already gone to New York?
 Yes, I have already gone to New York.
 No, I haven’t gone to New York yet.
 Note: Already can also be used at the
end of the question to express surprised.
E.G. Have you finished already?
