2. Preliminary Planning
Strengths: What I thought went well with my planning of my preliminary task is that I was able to give
plenty of ideas, that can be seen in my finely product, clearly. Such as the scripting and the editing
features that would be used in between voice recordings.
Weakness: The main weakness to my planning is that I wasn’t able to add a lot of information of my
ideas as I had wanted. Such as job roles and reasons why I had chosen the ideas.
Improve: If I were to repeat this project I was focus more time on beable to add the information of
how a would create my final outcome.
3. Jingle
Strengths: The use of a single piece of music to create the jingle. Could heard clearly and went well
with the type of gernes of the radio station as well as sounding interesting not to bore anyone.
Weakness: Voiceover used announce the stations name sound out of place.
Improve: If were to recreate the jingle I would focus on not rushing editing the jingle and gain a better
sounding voiceover to add with it.
4. Using Audition
Strengths: I found working on audition was quick to understand and found it very useful when editing
and exporting my final product.
Weakness: Problem that I found using audition was the lack of audio effect that I could have place
within my recording to improve the quality.
Improve: If i use audition to repeat this project or use the program for any other work, involving audio I
would focus more on the variant of effects and how they're able to change my final out.
5. Recording Studio
Strengths: I found that using recording studio was very easy to get use to and help to gain much
clearly voice recordings then I would be able to gain if I had used a dictaphone.
Weakness: When first using the studio I had trouble on being able to get the mic working and after
recording was collect some of the audio sound high pitch or was muffled.
Improve: If I were to used the recording studio again I’d see if the mics were working so not to have to
rush recording because of the lack of time.
6. Recording using a dictaphone
Strengths: Using the dictaphone allowed me to collect extra samples of voice recording quickly
without needing to use the studio again.
Weakness: Same as for the jingle the use of a dictaphone recordings gained weren’t as clearly a
picked up sound in the back growed.
Improve: If I were to use a dictaphone again I would used a more quieter area were less background
noise can be made so not to ruin the recording.
7. Team work
Strength: Working the team that I was in made it lot easier me to focus more on editing of the final
product while the other member couldn’t be able to quickly gain extra recordings that were needed.
Weakness: When working the the team that i was in I found not much was wrong apart from the lack
of conversion on improve or changes that could of been made after finishing.
Improve: If I chose to work with the team again I would hope to gain more ideas on how I could
improve the project after finishing.
8. Individual contribution to team
I contributed to the team was editing of the voice recordings, structuring and cutting them so the
audience could be able to make sense what being said to them. Along with the voice I also edited
music, sound effects to help add identity to the genres of the radio station that they're trying to
converse as well as additional editing features such as sound bed, preview of music and more.
9. Blogging
Strengths: When blogging the preliminary task I found it very simple when using the blogging site
itself as it allowed me to easily structure the different work iI had done for this task.
Weakness: When blogging I founding is different it be able to quickly export my video based work
onto youtube.
Improve: Next time I’ll will focus on exporting videos beforehand to be able to spend more time
improving my blog.
