Tell me in no more than20 words, what is your
FMP idea?
My idea is a documentary onmy mumwho is
completing10 marathonsin10 daysin May.
Why have youdecided to makeit? I havedecided tomake this because I think
documentary makingisone of my strongpoints
andit’s somethingI want togo into in the future.
What aboutyourproject makesit importantto
you?
This project is importanttome because the event
as a whole is importantasit’s somethingmy
entire family supportandwe all supportmy mum
as she’srunning. Itmeans a lot to usall as a
family, which makesit importanttome.
Outline someof the initial influences onyour
idea/work and somepotential research targets
(remember, research isn’t justa paperbased
activity)
I can research the charity and the backstory
behindthe 10 marathonsin10 days. I can also get
some backstory frommy mumas to why she is
doingthis andwhat makes it importanttoher; as
she is the one completingit. I can also do some
more in depthresearch aboutthe lake district and
runningin general.
What effect do youwant to haveon your
audience when they see yourproject?
I would want themto feel inspired to do
somethingoutof their comfort zone. I alsowant
them tofeel how I feel, which is proud.
Describe the tone/mood/styleofyourproject
[which productiontechniques/characteristicsare
youemploying?]
Overall I want it to have a happy, moremoving
tone. But I also wantthere to be a part where it’s
more sadand seems like it’s a struggle, to show
the reality of marathonrunning.
Why have youdecided to makeyour project in
this style?
I think makingdocumentariesis really fun andit’s
somethingwe haven’tdonein lessonbefore soit
gives me an opportunity toexpandonmy film
makingknowledge andcreate somethingunique
thatI will find fun to make.
