If your business is involved in selling, recycling or loaning used goods, the U.S. Supreme Court affirmed the owner's rights to resell such items. In other words, if you bought it, you own it and you can sell it.
The case held that those who lawfully buy copyrighted works or items own them and have the right to resell them without going back to get approval of the original copyright holder. After the first sale, the copyright holder no longer has rights in the item. It's called the "first sale" doctrine.
The case, Wiley vs. Kirtsaeng, was decided in March 2013 and applied to goods manufactured outside the U.S. but subject to U.S. copyright law.

On October 16, 2015, Amazon filed a lawsuit against 1,114 Fiverr sellers, alleging they were selling fake review on Amazon, in violation of the Amazon terms of service. In December 2015 the Federal Trade Commission filed a lawsuit against a Gainsesville, Texas based company alleging it was engaged in an office supply scam against small businesses, non-profits and schools. The FTC obtained a restraining order against Liberty Supply Co., doing business as Omni Services. This is the complaint filed in Federal District Court in Texas by the FTC.
Google is cracking down on marketing firms that mislead small businesses by falsely claiming to represent Google and promising better search results, improved AdWords positions, and better Google My Business local listings through robocalls and other activities.
