PRACTICE II.

English).​ England. Editorial Pearson.
1. Determine the level of English according to the CEFR global scale.
- The level of English of this book according to the CEFR global scale is B2 for
independent users.
2. Choose one of the macro skills. Read the descriptors carefully. Select three
activities from the book and explain what the students can do at this level.
- ​Macro skill chosen​: Speaking.
- ​Descriptors​: ‘I can present clear, detailed descriptions on a wide range of subjects
related to my field of interest. I can explain a viewpoint on a topical issue giving the
advantages and disadvantages of various options.’
- ​Activity 1:​​ Page 8 - Activity 1.
The students are supposed to look at those two photos and discuss the questions
above, which are related to them.
By doing this activity, the students can analyze pictures and relating them to other
topics that that are not explicit (the kind of music these people listen to, for example)

- ​Activity 2:​​ Page 19 - Activity 6.
The students are expected to form sentences by linking two phrases. Then, they
have to discuss their choices with their partners to see whether they agree with each
other or not.
By doing this activity, the students show that they are able to exchange their opinions
agreeing or disagreeing with each other and to stand for a position during the
discussion.
-​ Activity 3: ​​Page 42 - Activity 4.
The learners have to ask some of their classmates if they have lived one of the
experiences of the list and then share the conversation with the rest of the class.
Finally, by doing this activity, students have the opportunity to demonstrate that they
can ask questions using the present perfect and narrate personal experiences.
