• The SPANISH CONSTITUTION is
the MOST IMPORTANT LAW
in Spain.
• It recognises the RIGHTS and
OBLIGATIONS of spanish citizens.
• It establishes the ORGANISATION
of the GOVERNMENT in SPAIN .
• It was APPROVED by all Spanish
citizens in 1978.


• It is represented by a KING.
• The king is the HEAD OF THE
STATE . He doesn’t govern.

Each province is divided into
MUNICIPALITIES.
For example Barcelona has 311
municipalities.
Some of them are: Berga,
Cabrils, el Masnou, Martorell…
