● In Spain, the head of
state is the monarch
(the king), but he
does not govern.

communities and
two autonomous
cities.

provinces and
municipalities.

power: it is held by
the Goverment.

political union of 28

countries.
● It was founded in

became part of it in
1986. They have the
same currency :
EURO
