This document outlines five problem statements and their objectives for research studies related to pregnancy and childbirth. The first problem statement aims to assess knowledge of risks from exposure to teratogens during early pregnancy and the effectiveness of a video teaching program. The second aims to assess knowledge of prevention and management of minor pregnancy ailments and the impact of a self-instructional module. The third aims to assess the effectiveness of ginger in relieving nausea and vomiting in pregnancy. The fourth aims to assess knowledge of menopausal management strategies and the effectiveness of a teaching program. The fifth aims to explore experiences of normal vaginal delivery versus cesarean section through qualitative research.
