Problem Statement 1:
A Study to Assess the Effectiveness of Video Assisted
Teaching Programme on Knowledge Regarding Risk of
Exposure to Teratogens During Early Pregnancy Causing
Atypical Fetal Birth Defects Among Antenatal Mothers in
Selected Community Area, Telangana.
Objectives:
1. To assess the pre-existing knowledge regarding risk of exposure to teratogens
during pregnancy causing atypical fetal birth defects.
2. To assess the effectiveness of video assisted teaching programme on knowledge
regarding risk of exposure to teratogens during pregnancy causing atypical fetal
birth defects.
3. To find out the association between the effectiveness of Video assisted teaching
programme on knowledge regarding risk of exposure to teratogens with selected
demographic variables.
Problem Statement 2:
A Study to Assess the Impact of Self Instructional Module
on Knowledge Regarding Prevention and Management of
Minor Ailments during Pregnancy among Antenatal
Mothers who are Attending Antenatal OPD at Selected
Hospitals, Telangana.
Objectives:
1. To assess the pre-test knowledge scores regarding Prevention and Management of Minor
Ailments during Pregnancy among Antenatal Mothers.
2. To determine the impact of SIM on knowledge regarding Prevention and Management of
Minor Ailments during Pregnancy among Antenatal Mothers.
3. To find out the association between post-test knowledge scores with selected
demographic variables.
Problem statement 3:
An Experimental study to Assess the Effectiveness
of Ginger on Relieving Nausea and Vomiting in
Pregnancy among Antenatal Mothers, who are
Admitted in Antenatal Ward, at Selected Hospital,
Telangana.
Objectives:
1. To assess the effectiveness intervention in providing
Ginger to antenatal mothers in relieving Nausea and
Vomiting during Pregnancy.
2. To determine the effectiveness of post-test intervention
results with selected demographic variables.
Problem statement 4:
A Study to Assess the Effectiveness of Self Instructional
Module on Menopausal Management Strategies among
Peri-Menopausal Women in Prevention and Management
of Menopausal Symptoms, in Selected Community Area,
Telangana.
Objectives:
1. To assess the pre-test knowledge among peri-menopausal women regarding
menopausal management strategies in prevention and management of
menopausal symptoms.
2. To determine the effectiveness teaching programme regarding menopausal
management strategies in prevention and management of menopausal
symptoms.
3. To evaluate the association between post-test knowledge with selected
demographic variables.
Problem statement 5:
A Qualitative Comparative Study to Explore
Childbirth Experiences among Women towards
Normal Vaginal Delivery Versus Cesarean Section
among Post Delivery Mothers who are admitted in
Postnatal Ward at Selected Hospital.
Objectives:
1. To explore women’s feelings and thoughts towards different
birthing modes (Normal Vaginal Delivery and Cesarean
Section).
2. To recognize the impact on women’s pain perception.
3. To overview the aspects of sense of security among Women
regarding childbirth experiences.
