Business Process Outsourcing(BPO)
Involves the contracting of the operations
and responsibilities of specific business
functions.
It uses employees in different sectors to
conduct transactions mainly in the
business world.
Employees here range from 18 years old
and above.
BPO
Usually people work here at night
because of the time intervals of
our country to other parts of the
world.
Employees working in BPO
companies are popularly known as
Call Center Agents.
 There are many people nowadays who are
unemployed. Even if they have chosen their career
path early on in their lives, the unemployment rate
forbids them from finding a job because many others
aspire for the same path.
 Like a funnel, unemployed people will flow along
where many others will go. In this case, the companies
that hire a lot of people are the BPOS. Thus, many
people aspire to be hired by them. “The longings and
aspirations of the people are shaped by the physical
characteristics of their respective environments”.
Group Activity
 For group 1: List 3 effects of working as a
call center agent. One for the body, for the
family, and for the friends.
 For group 2: Assemble the puzzle to create
picture and quotation. After assembling,
create a short paragraph about your
reflection on the quotation.
 Do it for only 5 minutes!
Essay(5points each)
1. How would you describe a BPO
employee or a call center agent? At
least 3 sentence
2. What is the effect of working as a
call center agent on the family? At
least 3 sentence
ASSIGNMENT:
Create a journal entry about your
reflection from the given quotation
below."The longings and aspirations
of the people are shaped by the
physical characteristics of their
respective environments".
