2. The Gods In Greek Mythology
They are the most powerful divine beings in Greek mythology. Their powers rule every aspect of the
world. These divine beings are gods and goddesses called the Twelve Olympians. Some of these gods
are Zeus, Poseidon, Aphrodite, Apollo, Artemis, Hera, and Hades. These gods all rule different aspects
of life. Zeus, Poseidon, Aphrodite, Apollo, Artemis, Hera, and Hades are some of the most powerful
Olympian gods in Greek mythology and they all have their own story, and they all represent
something.
Zeus the god who started Olympus and evolved into something greater. Firstly, some background info
on Zeus is that his mom is named Rhea. And his dad is named Cronus. Cronus is the king of the
Titans. Before Zeus became king of the gods his father, Cronus ruled. One day Cronus was told by
Mother Nature that he would be overthrown by one of his children. As a result of this Cronus decided
that he would eat his kids once they were born. This made it near to impossible for his children to ...

Zeus brought Cronus wine every day to Cronus. As a result of this, Zeus one day poisoned Cronus s
wine. The poison made Cronus, so ill that he vomited all of Zeus s brothers and sisters and the rock.
Zeus teamed up with his freed brothers and sisters and fought Cronus and the other Titans. Zeus and
the others struggled against the Titans until one day one eyed creatures called Cyclops came to help
the Zeus and the others. The Cyclops equipped Zeus with a lightning bolt, Poseidon with a trident, and
Hades with a hat of darkness which made him invisible when worn. Later that night, Hades equipped
his hat and snuck into the Titan s camp, and destroyed all their weapons. This made it extremely easy
for Zeus and the others to win. Once the war ended Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades drew lots to see who
would rule what. Zeus became the ruler of the overworld. Poseidon became the lord of the sea.
Finally, Hades became the king of the Underworld

3. The Problem Of Bad Debts
INTRODUCTION
The accumulation of huge NPA in banks has assumed great importance. The depth of the problem of
bad debts was first realised only in early 1990s. The magnitude of NPAs in banks and financial
institution is over Rs. 150000 cr.
So gross NPA reflects the quality of the loans made by banks, net NPA shows the actual burden of
banks. Now it is increasingly evident that the major defaulters are the big borrowers coming from the
initiative to reduce NPAs in a time bound strategic approach.
Public sector banks figure prominently in the debate not only because they dominate the banking
industries, but also since they have much larger NPAs compared with the private sector banks. This
raises a concern in the industry and academia because it is generally felt that NPAs reduce the
profitability of a banks, weaken its financial health and erode its solvency.
For the recovery of NPAs a board framework has evolved for the management of NPA under which
several options are provided for debt recovery and restructuring. Banks and FIs have the freedom to
design and implement their own policies for recovery and write off incorporating compromise and
negotiate settlements.
DEFINITION
An asset, including a leased asset, becomes non performing when it ceases to generate income for the
bank.
A non performing asset (NPA) was defined as a credit facility in respect of which the interest and/ or
instalment of principal has remained past due for a specified period of time.

4. Personal Statement On Occupational Therapy
Growing up, I have been an individual who has pushed myself beyond the minimum requirements in
order to succeed. In high school I excelled in both academics and athletics. I graduated in the top 10%
of my class and lettered in hockey and tennis my sophomore, junior, and senior year. I worked hard
and put in extra time in order to set myself apart from others. Succeeding in both school and athletics
made me a responsible, reliable, and an organized individual. These experiences made me a versatile
individual and have given me a work ethic that has benefited me with my academics in college and
with my work and volunteer experiences.
Occupational therapy is the career that I have always been interested in because it is a career where I
would be able to use my creativity when providing therapy to patients, work and connect with a
diverse population, and be a leader. From volunteering and shadowing therapists, I have realized that
there is no patient that is the same. Occupational therapists meet with many patients each day and each
therapy session is customized for that specific individual. I like this because as an occupational
therapist, you have to get to know the patient on a personal level and adapt as a professional to a
treatment that will benefit each individual patient. This is a part of the profession that I would enjoy I
would continue to learn everyday and I would be able to connect with people. I would be able to use
my creativity to help individuals get better and

5. Women During The Civil War
The American Civil War was a time of pronounced racial and gender role changes. Despite political
tension and fighting, many women began to hold a variety of jobs in order to make valuable
contributions to the war effort. Moreover, a patriarchal government governed the effects of slavery and
the economy. Nonetheless, the influence women had during the Civil War tends to be minimized,
especially African American women. Despite facing discrimination, black women greatly influenced
the war effort. The discrimination they faced is most prominently seen through wage disparities
between white and black female workers and the pensions black women were denied when the war
came to an end. One such occupation African American women held were as ... Show more content on

Approximately 750,000 men died; a death toll greater than those who passed in all other American
wars combined. This means soldiers were dying at incredibly high rates and as a result, there was a
great need for medical personnel in both hospitals and the battlefield. Most of these numbers are said
to be the result of illnesses such as dysentery, small pox, malaria and typhoid which killed more
soldiers than battle wounds. Because of this, many African American women took on different jobs to
contribute to the war effort such as becoming nurses.
Although most nurses tended to be men during the war, a vast amount of females were joining the
effort. According to historians, approximately 2000 females worked as nurses in both the North and
the South. Record books show that African American nurses served in both the Union and Confederate
hospitals. US government hospitals in Maryland, Virginia, and North Carolina had as many 181 black
female and male nurses. Nonetheless; the Civil War would determine the fate of slavery as a result of
the nation s refusal to compromise on the issue between the North and the South. The dividing factor
was indeed the institution of slavery and the effect slavery had on the economy. During the 19th
century, the north was industrializing; its economy began to rely more on wage laborers rather than
slaves. The South s farming economy, however, remained to rely

6. Speech Pathology Personal Statement
The speech pathology program at Texas State University is attractive to me because it is very science
based. I have heard great accolades from alumni that they received an all encompassing education
with great opportunities in research and clinical practice. I am looking for a program that allows me to
place an emphasis on what specialty of speech pathology I am interested in as well as covering all
aspects of the profession. Texas State s program interests me because of the variety of services that the
clinic offers as well as the large span of research among the different professors. I would love to be
involved in adult and child therapy relating to dysphagia management, and neurological disorders. I
am excited to see that Texas State s Speech Language and Hearing Clinic offers therapy to adults and
children with neurological disorders resulting from cerebrovascular accidents, traumatic brain injury,
multiple sclerosis among others. I want to get hands on experience with this population because this is
such a large part of speech pathology in the medical field. Texas State also has a whole course on the
cognitive rehabilitation of clients with traumatic brain injury, which is exactly what I want to get
experience in. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

issues that need to be addressed in therapy to achieve results. This is a part of speech pathology that is
not widely known and I would love to take advantage of this opportunity that Texas State offers. I am
excited that this is a new program that Texas State is offering and I would love to get the opportunity

INTRODUCTION
Evolution theories have been around for a long time. There have also been a lot of old and young
Earth creationism arguments. These theories and arguments are discussed in this paper.
ATHEISTIC EVOLUTION
Atheistic evolution can be defined as a belief that everything was created without any supernatural
phenomenon (God). Atheistic evolution is thus basically the opposite of theistic evolution. One of the

According to Exodus 20:11 : For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all
that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed
it. This verse is found in the middle part of the Tеn Commandmеnts. God told the Israelites that the
reason they had to work six days and rest on the seventh day, is because He created everything and
rested on the seventh day. It is thus not realistic to think we have to work for six long periods (millions
of years) and rest for another long period. The Bible also states that Jesus woke up three days after his
crucifixion, which could not mean millions of years.
Meredith Kline, from Westminster Theological Seminary proposed that Genesis should be interpreted
metaphorically and not literally like most of us do. Old Earth creationists believe that scientific
evidence cannot be overlooked. Scientists use the method of radiometric aging from meteorite
material to determine the age of Earth. Fossils were found that are much older than a few thousand
years, for example dinosaurs.
PERSONAL VIEW
I personally believe in biblical evolution. Science has an explanation for how life is evolving but does
not have a valid explanation of how life initially began, that is where science and Christianity are
compatible. Christianity can
9. The Christ Of The Covenants
The Christ of the Covenants demonstrates the relationship between five covenants God instigated with
Adam, Abraham, Noah, Moses, and David in the Old Testament, and how they are reflected in Jesus
birth, death, and resurrection in the New Testament. In answering four basic questions, I discovered
this main idea to be true time and time again. Robertson exhibits his vast knowledge of the subject
with a concisely structured index outlining one clear point for the entire novel.
In his book, The Christ of the Covenants, O. Palmer Robertson views the covenants necessary to the
understanding of the Scriptures. They are mandatory for us to attempt to interpret the grand scheme of
redemption. While the actual word covenant may not appear in Scripture until Genesis 6, some of the
five old covenants (Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, and David) were established prior to this. The
performance rituals of the covenants were described in depth, thus providing sufficient proof that they
did indeed exist. The main message of Scripture lies in redemption, or the Gospel story of the New
Testament. Without the Old Testament covenants, we would not be able to understand why and how
God fulfills them later on through the birth, death, and resurrection of his son Jesus Christ.
Unity describes how the various covenants all relate to one another, beginning with God s covenant
with Adam in Creation and the eventual redemption found in Christ. There are two ways the covenants
are unified:

How Much Money Can You Make As a Tutor at TutorABC?
It will vary based on how you are rated by students. Because most of the students are on the free plan,

past tutoring experience that you have at the interview. This is an independent contractor position.
The student sessions tend to average 15 to 20 minutes and you must maintain 15 tutoring sessions.
Payment is monthly via PayPal or a wire transfer if you prefer.
My friend who works there tends to hit around $12 to $15 an hour (not a session).

12. The Occupy Wall Street Movement and Ensuing Controversy Essay
On September 17, 2011 hundreds of people began to gather in Zuccotti Park, New York which is Wall
Street s financial district under the banner Occupy Wall Street : these three simple words are causing
an uproar in America (Engler). Additionally, these three words happen to be protesting the current
status of America s financial condition. With the economy in America being as terrible as it is, and the
unemployment rate skyrocketing, it is absolutely necessary for some sort of change to occur. The
Occupy Wall Street protesting is most positively a progressive step for the economic state in America
and it is a step in the right direction.
It goes without saying that the Occupy Wall Street protestors are angry but what are they angry about?

Occupy Wall Street symbolizes their frustrations through the various occupying demonstrations, signs,
and most notably, their slogan: We are the 99% representing the growing inequality of the wealthiest
1% of America s population and the rest of the country s citizens. The top 1% has more than doubled
their income over the last thirty years according to a Congressional Budget Office (CBO) report. In
2007, the richest 1% owned 34.6% of the country s total wealth. After the Great Recession and
economic crisis the amount of the country s total wealth owned by the 1% grew from 34.6% to 37.1%.
Now that it is known what characteristics of America Occupy Wall Street wants to improve or simply
eliminate, how exactly does this group plan to carry out these goals? This is one of the primary
criticisms of the movement. Many people believe that Occupy Wall Street lacks logical and
understandable demands (Stoeffel). However, anyone who studies this group will know precisely what
this social movement wishes to be accomplished. As stated before, Occupy Wall Street wants more
and better jobs, a more equal distribution of wealth and a diminution of the influence that big
businesses have on American government. Nevertheless, how is still an issue, but is it the average
99% of citizens duty to know how to fix a system that more than one group is unhappy with? Another
element of Occupy Wall Street s criticism is that there is no particular person in this situation to
blame. This

13. How Does Edgar Allan Poe Use Allusions In The Raven
Dark romantic writers explores the evil sides of humanity, such as Edgar Allan Poe, when he exposes
readers to the dangers of loss and isolation. One midnight when the narrator was reminiscing over his
lost Lenore, a raven flew in his window and confronted him. He loses himself and reality the more he
talks with the raven, as he longs to see his lost love, Lenore. In stanza fourteen of The Raven, Poe uses
several allusions and imagery to show the narrator s growing mental instability and paranoia due to
living in solitude and his never ending love for the missed Lenore. Poe uses imagery to identify the
point when the narrator starts going crazy. The narrator first imagines the air thickening, and perfume
filling the air. He notices, the air grew denser, perfumed from an unseen censer (Poe 79). He fantasizes
a nice scent in the air, that is not there. He then hears footsteps in another room, which Poe describes it
by using figurative language to appeal to the hearing sense. Foot falls tinkled on the tufted floor (Poe
80). While staring at the raven, the narrator believes that there is something else in his house, creating
the scent of perfume and making the footsteps. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
From the belief that something else besides himself and the raven are in the narrator s house, he
imagines that the footsteps were swung by Seraphim (Poe 80). It is an allusion to mystic creatures in
the Bible, who circles God and praises him. He thinks that they have come to visit him and to take his
pain away. Another allusion that Poe makes is the narrator s wish for Nepenthe, a drink to forget all
sorrows and banish grief. Quaff, oh quaff this kind nepenthe and forget this lost Lenore! (Poe 83). In
Homer s The Odyssey, nepenthe is used on Helen to make her forget her home. The narrator in The
Raven wishes for the drug, so he can forget about Lenore, his remorse for her, and the ominous

The Third Way for Social Change
To the third way of Jesus which refuses to fight or flight, we owe a balanced life in our humble self
image as bearers of God and worthy of dignity. Is there a composed and rational middle way between
fight and flight? For years, standing up against certain ideas is common in our arguments, and debates,
both historically and in modern times, as we see with terms like anti bullying, anti war, anti racist. In
fact, Most of the heat is generated by the polar opposites. For example in the atheist and theist

My understanding is that some scrutiny means the third way. Early leaders rejected the grip of catholic
church state control over people s lives. Their ideas and insistence on separation between church and
state is an attempt for the third way. We still believe that all mankind, because of Adam s fall, has
inherited a sinful nature, and all people are sinful, and any sin is exceedingly offensive to God. With
sins came the gross social inequality, the wars and despotism, that curse our existence. For most of our
life we supported ourselves by the belief that salvation is a gift of God s grace through faith in Jesus
Christ. Our life is a life that the masses have traditionally regarded as nasty, brutish, and short full with
fears and blindness to see ourselves in unexpected places. We deceive ourselves when we think that
we have to protect God standards. God is bigger than our imperfect interpretations which are based on
fears. God and the people do not have the same perspectives on how to live life. There are many kinds
of fears such as fears. The fear of God must become a basis for us. Another fear is the fear of shame
about our bodies, our instincts, and our behaviors. My understanding is that the body of Christ like
any human body performed different functions for different behaviors but there was no part who can
say to another part I do not need you. When the body parts was first made, all the body parts wanted to
be boss. The Brain, the Feet, the Hands, the Eye, and so it went with the Heart, the Ear, and the Lungs,
then the last opening in the digestive system spoke up and demanded to be the boss. All the body parts
laughed at the idea. We all know when that opening is blocked and refused to function. Soon, all body
parts strive to keep just working, then every part is satisfied to let that part be the boss.

The main goal of this article was to evaluate how voters participated on the internet during the 2004
election. Unlike previous years, the 2004 election saw an increase in voter participation amongst the
younger crowd. One of the contributing factors to this increase was the Internet. The internet as a
whole has helped restructure how political campaigns are run and set forth a new objective: to gain the
young vote. The problem was that young voters, when compared to older generations, were not as
active in the presidential campaigns and lacked the motivation to participate. The solution to this
problem was to redefine how the internet connected with the voters and to encourage involvement
with the campaign itself. The traditional television

16. Anne Marie Slaughter And Richard Dorment Essay
In life we are told to have it all by raising a perfect family, getting a beautiful house, and having a high
paying job; but is it possible to have it all? How many people can honestly have it all, when so many
are just trying to survive? In the articles, Why Women Still Can t Have It All and Why Men Still Can t
Have It All, Anne Marie Slaughter and Richard Dorment, discuss how women function in the
workplace and the different expectant outcomes for each, mainly focusing on the upper class. The
primary objective of Slaughter s passage was to show how women are treated poorly and how they are
held to a different standard than their male counterparts. Dorment focused mostly on how neither
women nor men should strive to have it all because nobody can. Together they consider the subjects of
workplace discrimination, housework standards, family involvement, and striving to have it all.
Anne Marie Slaughter constructed the article, Why Women Still Can t Have It All including personal
and statistical measures to prove that, though women have come far, they are not to the standard of
men. She begins the article informing us of her job as the first female director of policy planning at the
State Department in Washington D.C. Admittingly, with such a high profile job and finding herself
struggling to balance her 14 year old son, she made the decision to quit her job after two years.

Unit 28 Website Production Assignment 1
Alex Aricci 2nd October 2014
P1
Introduction
The purpose of this report is to outline the web architecture and components that enable internet and
web functionality.
Internet Service Providers (ISP)
ISPs are the companies which own or rent the infrastructure which provides internet access to its
customers for a fee. ISPs often offer different services at different price points with more expensive
ones often having higher bandwidth and download limits (or no download limits at all) as well as
sometimes providing phone and digital TV services (for instance, Sky, Virgin, BT) although available
services vary locally due to differences in infrastructure.
Web Hosting Services
Web hosting services provide space and bandwidth on the internet for people to make their websites
available online. When a web page is requested the web host sends a web page to someone trying to
access it via a server.
Domain Structure
The Domain Name system is a system on the internet used to translate IP addresses (long string of
numbers that describe the location of a resource on the internet) into recognisable names, this makes it
easier for humans to navigate the internet as it is much easier to remember the name of a website than
to remember its I.P. address. It is a hierarchical system that points users to various resources,
computers or services on the internet, such as images or videos.

20. Persuasive Essay On Caged Rights
Caged Rights
Whether it was long ago in the glorious days of childhood or if it was a recent trip, the majority of us
have gone to a zoo at least once. As a child, no one seems to challenge the ethical dilemmas zoos put
forth, but as one matures they may start to call into question the ethics of zoos. Do zoos treat animals
humanely? Some questions one should think about are the zoo s breeding and conservation strategies
that go on and the exhibits. Do they support the necessities that animals require?
One well known positive impact zoos have in place are their breeding and conservation programs.
These educational and species saving programs have been able to bring numerous animals such as red
wolves, black footed ferrets, and California Condors back from the brink of extinction. Species
Survival Plans (SSPs), which aim to manage the breeding of specific endangered species in order to
help maintain healthy and self sustaining populations that are both genetically diverse and
demographically stable (Traw), are a key factor in saving these species. So far, the Association of
Zoos and Aquariums has put in place over 100 SSPs. Without these plans in place, the Earth would be
missing an even larger amount of species. One of the main arguments zoo protestors have against
captive breeding, is that it creates a lack of diversity in the species genes; however, experts in this field
are very knowledgeable about creating diversity, and they have software that looks over the genetic

21. The Time Of The End
To understand the end time, or the end of this present age as we know it, you must first understand
that in the Bible the time of the end spans from the book of Genesis to the book of Revelation. Since it
is often difficult for most people to find the time to study the Bible from cover to cover, it will be my
job to highlight one of the most important threshold moments of the end time era for your
understanding, and let that serve as a quick reference to knowledge that you so desperately need. Time
is of the essence! In Last Call for The Church, you will get a truly unique understanding of the
Rapture as it applies to a collective body of believers, referred to in the Bible as a bride, or better
known as the church. Every effort has been made to present precept upon precept from the viewpoint
of a Pre Tribulation Rapture.
Let me begin by saying, I did not want to write this book. I pleaded with God for five years to please
find someone else to give this call to the church. I begged Him just like Moses did, please find
someone else, someone more qualified than me, someone who speaks better than me, (Exodus 4:13
NIV). I was clearly having my very own burning bush moment with God. I was denying my calling by
coming up with every excuse possible, and I knew it! God had caught my attention, and He might as
well have been speaking to me from a burning bush. It was just that unreal! I mean, I saw it in the

INVESTIGATION ON TURNING PARAMETERS ON MACHINING TIME AND VIBRATION OF
CARBON FIBER REINFORCED LAMINATES ABSTRACT: This work proposes the investigation
of machining time and vibration characteristics of machining differently oriented unidirectional
Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP). The carbon fibers are oriented at 0, 45, 90 degrees during
stacking process of laminate. The turning experiments are carried out in Siemens CNC Lathe to
investigate best operating conditions. There are 9 experiments based on Taguchi s L9 orthogonal array
are performed. The machining parameters are Spindle Speed, Feed and Depth of cut and the output
responses are machining time and amplitude of vibration. The predication models are developed using
ANOVA. To find the best value of the regression model, a real time coded Genetic Algorithm (GA)
using Turbo C++ and MATLAB tool box GA are used. The result indicated that predicted models are
significant and the real time coded GA produced best value. KEYWORDS: Turning, Genetic

24. Digital Pedagogy Essay
Currently we live in an era driven by information, global competition and new technologies that are
changing the way we think, live and work. (Pillay, Boulton Lewis Wilss 2004, p.17). This conveys the
notion that technology has manipulated the minds of today s generation in every way possible, could
be during schooling and non schooling life. Hence in order for one s teaching style to go successful
one should teach in accordance to the characteristics of the generation they re teaching as today s
generation requires a digital pedagogy. Furthermore this essay scrutinizes how the characteristics of
the 21st century and the digital world will influence the type of teacher one hopes to become. As well
as it examines on the construction of skill development towards students from the trending of digital
fluency.
Technology today is the fundamental enhancement of teaching and education towards students
including collaborative learning. Many educators would approve that a vigorous display of student
triumph is the students ability to advance both skills and an interest in durable education. A teacher s
style of teaching regarding educational experience and environment could have a vast effect on their
student s education. However technology has emerged as the foundation regarding stronger education,
therefore numerous students going to college or university have already possessed progressive skills
concerning electronic learning as they ve practiced and learnt from a fledgling

25. Examples Of Preposition Of Orientation
The basic preposition of a direction is to.
TO: signifies orientation toward a goal. When the goal is physical, such as a destination, to implies
movement in the direction of the goal. Image Caption: We flew from New York to Paris. (OR) We
flew to Paris.
When the goal is not a physical place, for instance, an action, to marks a verb; it is attached as an
infinitive and expresses purpose. The preposition may occur alone or in the phrase in order. The two
uses can also occur together in a single sentence:
We flew from New York to Paris to see our father.
The other two prepositions of direction are compounds formed by adding to to the corresponding
prepositions of location.
The preposition of location determines the meaning of the preposition ... Show more content on

Image Caption: The milk went into the glass.
With many verbs of motion, on and in have a directional meaning and can be used along with onto and
into.
This is why to is inside parentheses in the title of the handout, showing that it is somewhat optional
with the compound prepositions. Thus, the following sentences are roughly synonymous: Image
Caption: The paper went into the garbage can. Image Caption: The crab washed up onto the shore.
To the extent that these pairs do differ, the compound preposition conveys the completion of an action,
while the simple preposition points to the position of the subject as a result of that action. This
distinction helps us understand how directional and locational prepositions are related: they stand in
the relationship of cause and effect.
The paper went into the garbage can.
Position of subject: the paper is in the garbage can.
The crab washed up onto the shore.
Position of subject: the crab is on the shore.

Strikes at Universidad de Cordoba have always been a constant, and it have affected my school life in
more ways than one. I graduated from high school in 2006 and enrolled in Industrial Engineering at
the university in 2007. Now it is 2017, I have quitted engineering and move to the English teaching

time experiencing a strike at the university, for all intents and purposes I was calm, contrary to the
majority of my classmates and student body, rather the word would be curious, I just could not

Data Collection.
The quantity of data required and strategy for data collections for a structure determination depend on
several conditions.
Crystallographic symmetry: the amount of symmetry present in the crystal system and space group.
With a high symmetry crystal system for example, a cubic, one needs only to collect diffraction data
through as little as 35°. Conversely, in a lower symmetry crystal system, such as a monoclinic, data
might need to be collected through 180°.
Non crystallographic symmetry (NCS): the amount of symmetry present in the asymmetric unit; that
is, the equal particles in the unit cell related by symmetry operations. A particle such as a virus,

Modern detectors, such as those using CCD technology, have very short read out times. Taken
together with the short exposures possible on the brightest synchrotron beamlines, this facilitates the
collection of a data set in a matter of hours. Moreover, the entire process is automated, with the data
collection software controlling the opening and closing of the x ray shutter, the rotation of the spindle,
the read out of the detector, and even the numbering of the images.
Data Proccessing
The processing of the diffraction data is mathematically complex. Fortunately, however, well
established algorithms are available in many software packages and program suites. Their existence
enables the relative newcomer to process data and calculate an electron density map with only
minimal guidance and with even more minimal mathematical knowledge. The first step in the
processing involves the determination of the crystal system and of the unit cell dimensions as
accurately as possible. In addition, at this stage we determine the orientation of the crystal in the
beam. This is usually carried out on the first diffraction image because it is usually the best quality
image, and with the knowledge of the oscillation ranges one can calculate the subsequent crystal
orientations. When the cell and orientation are known, indexing can be carried out. each spot on the

29. How To Write An Organ Transplant Essay
Organ Transplant Essay
Every 10 minutes, someone is added to the national transplant waiting list and on average, 21 people
die each day while waiting for a transplant. ( transplant.hrsa.gov )
Before an organ is allocated, all transplant candidates on the waiting list that are incompatible with the
donor because of blood type, height, weight and other medical factors are automatically screened from
any potential matches. Then, the computer application determines the order that the other candidates
will receive offers. According to information from the Organ procurement and transplantation
network, Specific criteria must be met in order to find the best match. First is location, Hearts and
lungs have less time to be transplanted, so the distance to the donor hospital is always considered first
when allocating those organs. Second is the size of the organ. Proper organ size is critical to a
successful transplant, which means that children often respond better to child sized organs. Although
pediatric candidates have their own unique scoring system, children essentially are first in line for

There are three types of rejection can occur after receiving an organ transplant: Hyperacute rejection
occurs as soon as the donated organ is transplanted. This rarely occurs because transplant doctors
make sure to match blood types and check if you have antibodies against the donated organ. Acute
rejection occurs at least a few days after the transplant surgery when the body has had time to identify
a foreign invader. Chronic rejection is a very gradual type of graft injury that can occur over months or
even years after transplantation. ( National Kidney Foundation ) A rejection episode may be reversed

30. Spanking As A Discipline Essay
A Midland mother is demanding justice after her child was allegedly slapped in the face. The report of
child abuse was filed in June, a week after Tyverious Mackey s birthday. In any case anger should
never result to violence (Williams). Even though kids should be disciplined but not to the point of
beating them, discipline such as spanking is a must because punishing them will make them a better
person and teaches kids that the adults are in control. Although kids should be disciplined there s a
difference between beating a child and disciplining them. For instance, spanking is a light punishment
and should not be used for every occasion. When one beats a child, whatever the intention, they know
the child will get seriously hurt and is done with malice. ( Do You Think Spanking ). In other words,
this explains that parents should not frequently spank their children, and should talk to them before
spanking them all the time. Another example that shows that kids should be disciplined but not to the
point of beating them is, just like a police officer, they do not need to be angry to enforce a rule or law.

The Progression of the Eighteenth Century Novel Shows How Society Takes Over the Role of God
The progression of the Eighteenth Century novel charts the transformation of the role of God into the
role of society. In Daniel Defoe s early Eighteenth Century novel, Robinson Crusoe, God makes the
laws, gives out the punishments, and creates the terror. By the end of the century, the French
Revolution and the Reign of Terror announce to the world that society is taking over the role of God
and now people will make laws, give out punishments, and incite terror. Early Eighteenth Century

34. Spinoza s Philosophy Of God
Spinoza s most famous and provocative idea is that God is not the creator of the world, but that the
world is part of God. According to him, God is an absolutely infinite being, that is, substance
consisting of infinite attributes, each of which expresses eternal and infinite essence. Spinoza believed
that everything that exists is God. However, he did not hold the converse view that God is no more
than the sum of what exists. God had infinite qualities, of which we can perceive only two, thought
and extension. Hence God must also exist in dimensions far beyond those of the visible world. He
derived an ethic from fundamental principles, which were closely linked to his view of God or nature
as everything. The highest good, he asserted, was knowledge of God, which was capable of bringing
freedom from tyranny by the passions, freedom from fear, resignation to destiny, and true blessedness.
