1. I started by getting a photo of the band's drummer, this will
be the base of my poster . The reason I'm focusing on the
drummer is that the drummer can be overlooked in bands
so by highlighting the drummer of this band it stands out
and makes more people aware of this position of a band.
2. I then deleted the background
only leaving the drummer and
drum kit. I did this to place a
greater focus on the drummer.
3. I then started by adding text and different fonts, such as the words
band Sultan Cafe and Bodoni MT. The text gave different information
like the name of the song and release date. I gave the text the colour
purple and yellow, because yellow and purple contrast on the colour
wheel because of this the colours complement each other.
4. I then started to add cartoon
effects, the lightning bolts coming
of the drums to give the poster
more energy and its own
destinated identity.
5. I then added a cartoon
crash to give a sense of
sound and to catch the
viewers eyes.
6. Pretty velvet post
I started by getting an image of the drummer on the
white background.
Then I added texts, the name of the band, the name of
the song and date of release February 24.
I then add the bands font and picked a Phen font to it.
I then picked a purple and yellow to make the
colours of the poster to pop , I then added animated
graphics to give the Poster to pop , I then added
animated graphics to give the poster an energy a
graphic look witty the lightning bolts and the crash.
