This document provides guidance and activities for evaluating post-production skills development over an AS and A2 media studies course. It begins with defining post-production as work done after filming to refine a media product, such as editing, sound mixing, and publishing work online. Students then map the post-production skills and techniques used in their moving image and print work. Next, students participate in a paired interview simulation to discuss their post-production experience. Finally, students answer a question describing important post-production decisions made over their media productions and how their skills developed.
