I learned about new filmmaking and editing technologies while constructing my media product. I used a Canon camera to film clear shots for the title sequence and a Mac computer with Final Cut Pro to edit the clips together. Editing with Final Cut Pro was the biggest new technology I learned, as I had no prior experience with it and learned how to attach and detach audio, apply effects, and troubleshoot problems. I also used online resources like DaFont for character fonts and YouTube for Final Cut Pro tutorials to help develop the title sequence.

1. What have you learnt about technologies from the process of
constructing this product?
When talking about technology that is involved with pre-production, production and post
production we decided to use cannon camera to film our title sequence, this was because we
wanted still clear camera shots so we didn’t experience with different cameras. We then used the
mac computers and the application final cut pro to edit our clips together, this was the best
decision as it offered us loads of options when editing, we got to use filters and editing tools that
we had never seen before and this made a huge difference from the original clips we had. Editing
with Final Cut Pro was the biggest new technology I learnt while producing my media product
because prior to this I had no previous experience of using Final Cut Pro, I learnt how attach and
detach audio, apply effects and I learnt what tools helped me do what problems occurred when
editing. Even though I weren't the editor I had the experience of doing so for a while, it was a
huge reasonability and I handled it well as I completed the final cut.
I used the internet to get access to websites like da font to get the fonts for each character page,
this showed me new styles of font that would relate to each character. Also I used YouTube to
watch tutorials about final cut pro and other title sequences for inspiration so we could develop
ours.
