2. Key Initiative 1 - Whole of Institute Wireless Networking Progressively rolled out across campuses from June 30th this year. This project will allow students to bring in their own notebooks and connect to the Chisholm network. The project will provide opportunity for teachers to deliver a blended range of technologies into their learning and assessment strategies, Increased flexibility and less reliance on the traditional computer classroom for online, on-campus delivery. 4. Key Initiative 3 - Learning Spaces project This project is currently in the research stage designed to deliver state of the art technology, enabled learning and meeting spaces across campuses. This project has a longer term focus but will deliver improved resources towards the end of 2008. 5. Key Initiative 4 - Staff / Student Portals New personal experience Web Spaces for Students and Staff. The initiative provides our students and staff with their own customised Chisholm portal, providing a valuable online resource delivering an extensive range of Information and Communication services from a single web location Technology & Educational Development Division

Student Portal Anytime , anywhere access to Course related information, Skills recognition resources, student records, enrolment , results, support services, email and classroom materials and activities, Enable students and teachers to collaborate through project-based Web sites. 7. My Monash Student Portal For the second consecutive year Monash University's portal My. Monash has won the Hitwise Online Performance Award in recognition of outstanding online business achievement. This category includes the websites of all educational institutions and places people go to learn, such as universities, schools and TAFE colleges.
