Political involvement in education can influence the system in various ways. The constitution mandates free primary and secondary education. However, frequent changes in government and socio-cultural constraints have hindered education goals. Political factors like the war on terror and uneven funding have negatively impacted literacy rates. To address these challenges, suggestions include strengthening provincial education departments, promoting vocational training, increasing access in rural areas through partnerships, and implementing effective monitoring and counseling programs.
