Abstract: This study was carried out to evaluate the effects of adding polyethylene
glycol (PEG 4000), sodium bentonite to Acacia saligna hay as a roughage in the diet
to deactivate it s content of tannins.
Twenty healthy growing Barki lambs averaged of 30.90В±4.63 Kg body weight
were randomly divided into four groups (five animals of each) in fattening trial lasted
for 180 days. Nutrients digestibility, nitrogen balance, blood serum metabolites,
rumen parameters, weight changes and average daily gain (ADG) were determined.
Animal groups were fed on concentrate feed mixture (CFM)+ berseem hay (G1),
CFM + acacia hay (G2), G2 diet + 5% PEG (G3) and G2 diet + 4% bentonite (G4).
Results revealed that group one had higher values of digestibility coefficients for
DM, OM, CP, CF, EE and NFE than the other groups. All animals were in positive

Background Information: Transformation is the process by which the genetic
material carried by an individual cell is altered by the incorporation of foreign
(exogenous) DNA into its genome (MedicineNet.com, Definition of Genetic
transformation ). Transformation in bacterial cells occurs when the cell incorporates
DNA into its genetic material. Bacteria cells that have the ability to take up DNA are
called competent. In a lab setting, this is encouraged by placing the mixtures of
transformation solution and plasmid DNA on ice, then rapidly transferring them to a
hot water bath for about fifty seconds, and then placing them back on ice again.
This procedure is called heat shock and increases the permeability of the cell

The two sides of the Anti war movement in the U.S that had a major influence in
bringing troops from Vietnam, were the civilian population and the G.I soldiers.
Together, along with various movements such as the student movement, black
movement, and working class movement mobilized to bring awareness of the truth
happening in the Vietnam War abroad. The reason these groups lead social actions
such as the student movement and the GI movement was due to the direct effects
the war was bringing upon them. With so many soldiers coming home in coffins,
the military was forced to open drafting to people as young as 19 years old. These
teenagers were not even allowed to drink alcohol legally nor vote but yet were

Led by a group of actors into the theatre from the lounge, I saw a number of
different theatrical elements that were distinguished from other conventional
theatre. The very first item that caught my attention as I entered was a line of
racks for coat hangers. Normally they would not be one of the first objects an
audience would notice in the house. The actors naturally guided the audience to
hang their coats on the hangers. As I went further into the space, I realized the
audience seats did not face the stage; the platform in which performance usually
takes place on was veiled by black curtains, visually creating a wall. This creation
of the new wall yet did not induce me to raise a question on where the actors would
act; its answer was evidently shown. The house was stripped down to a bare, flat
ground, encircled by the audience chairs. I did not see any specially raised platform
that highlighted any actors presence. Nor did I see any decorative set design, apart
from two pillars and a bench in between, which distinctly differentiated the acting
region from the spectator region. I did see a blue tape on the ground that physically

Blackfoot tribe. The Blackfoot tribe was sometimes known as the classic example of
the Plains Indians. The Blackfoot reservation actually consists of four different tribes

In the 1560s the ownership of the Florida Peninsula was hotly contested. The French
had preemptively built a small fort, Fort Caroline, near what would become
Jacksonville, Florida. In 1565 the Spanish marched from St. Augustine and took this
small fort, slaughtering some 200 people. Then, they chased down the remaining
French Huguenots near a small inlet. Believing that his men would be well treated,
the leader surrendered to the Spanish. The Spanish slaughtered them to the last man
in an act that horrified the people of the age. Thus this beautiful location became
known as Matanzas or Place of the Slaughters.
Fort Matanzas was finished by the Spanish in 1742. It was meant to guard Matanzas
Inlet, the southern end of Matanzas River. The Spanish were worried the river would
serve as a back door to the city of St. Augustine. They built it of coquina shellstone,
naturally abundant in the area. The fort is a smaller square style with walls 50
foot long on each side and a 30 foot tall high tower. On the right hand wall of the
fort a small tower overhangs the wall. This was where the sentries were posted. The
fort was armed with five cannon aimed at the inlet and manned by one officer, four
infantrymen and two gunners. The fort was only involved in one skirmish in which it
successfully drove off a British fleet.
By 1821, the fort was unlivable. Restorations began in 1916. By 1924 the fort was

specific instructions to her daughter but with one question towards the end, with

This civilization was called, Ancient Rome. ancient Rome was one of the greatest

center of the peninsula, near the sea, contributed to its growth in importance and the

that were very important for the citizens of that civilization in those times. Important
things like: how Rome was found, the religions that were created in Rome, things
