11. CLASSIFYING TREES
• There are two main types of trees:
• DECIDOUOS trees lose their leaves in
autumn and winter.
• EVERGREEN trees keep their leaves
during all seasons.

17. PLANT REPRODUCTION
• Many plants produce seeds inside the
flowers.
• Fruits form around the seeds to protect
them, and they can be hard or soft.

18. FLOWERING AND NON
FLOWERING PLANTS
Most plants are flowering
plants.
These plants produce
different types of seeds.
Non flowering plants, like
ferns and mosses, do no
produce seeds, they use
SPORES to reproduce

19. FERNS AND MOSSES
Ferns have
spores which
are like small
brown spots
under their
leaves.
Mosses
reproduce with
spores that grow
inside capsules.
