2. DAZE
 The name of our artist is DAZE and his name is unknown
 He is 16 years old and still attends secondary school
 Used to write lyrics during school and at home
 Used to produce EP’s in his bedroom and go to music store in Camden
trying to sell them, one of them was very successful and gained a lot of
attention
 As a result, he was signed to Dirty Hit Records
 Very mysterious and is an introvert
 The line through the Z on the logo is to show nothing is perfect and
everyone and everything has its imperfections.

3. ‘Heathens’
 The song we have chosen is ‘Heathens’ by Twenty One Pilots
 The genre of the song is rap rock and alternative/indie
 The song was released in 2016 and was part of the soundtrack for the film
‘Suicide Squad’
 A major factors for choosing the song was that the three of us really the
song and felt as if we could create a clear narrative with the music video.

4. Primary Audience
 Our target audience are boys and girls aged between 14-23 and this was
because we felt as if people between these ages could relate to our artist
and form a connection with them through both music and personality.
 As a result of his age group being our target audience, the majority of our
audience will either be at school, university or working part time.

5. Dirty Hit Records
 Dirty Hit Records was formed in 2009 by Jamie Oborne, Brian Smith and
Ugo Ehiogu
 It is based in West London
 Its distributor is Universal Music Group
 Genres include; alternative rock electropop, indie pop and indie rock
 Artist signed to them include The 1975 and Wolf Alice
 We chose this label to be the one to sign DAZE as he is from London and
the label is based in London, the type of his music he likes and produces
fits their genre and we feel as if this label would promote him and create a
big audience like it has with their other artists.

6. Music Video
 Due to this being the first music video by the artist and his firt hit single,
the music will not have a high production value.
 We will film in locations which will match the genre and personality to the
artist
 For example, a key location of ours which will feature in the video is
Camden. Our artist has a deep love and connection with this place as this
is where his music career started and took off when he used to go around
music stores trying to sell his music.

7. Goodwin’s Theory
 There will be many different shots and angles throughout the video, such
as low shots, long shots and over the shoulder shots
 The artist will mainly be positioned in the centre of the frame as well as on
the side
 Some aesthetic shots of our multiple locations will also be included in the
video.
 Costume and props will fit the genre of the song
 Multiple references to teenage problems within the video, such as feeling
lonely and trying to find yourself in the world.
