Teachers comments
1. 2 excellent analyses of film openings Limitless and Mission Impossible.
Clear and confident use of technical language used throughout. You
could add what you have learnt from these openings that you will use in
your product. You are missing 1 more film opening. Please add this.
Analysis of Hot Fuzz now added to a proficient level.
2. Good research into the history of the genre, presented well using
powerpoint. You could add more images to this to make it more visual.
3. Good research on target audience. Good use of NRS scale and avatar
creator to show stereotypical audience members.
4. Great script, builds mystery well. However, it needs some formatting
tweaks, please look at your scene directions at the start of each scene,
take out the camera shots and just describe what you need the actors to
do. Script now formatted and uploaded correctly.
5. Clear evidence of drafting of ideas throughout.
6. An excellent set of clear storyboards showing your vision well. Some of
the writing is quite hard to read, you may need to go over with a pen and
re-scan.
7. Excellent shot list, well done. Clear, precise and shows your vision.
8. Good clear floor plans of main locations, please state where these plans
are for.
9. Great set of photos showing where you will shoot, however, you need to
add a sentence for each one saying what scene will be shot there and
why you chose it. Choice of locations now added alongside the images.
10.Costume choices explained well with images.
11.Prop choices explained with images.
12.You need to re-read this post as the opening sentence does not make
sense. You have stated you will need 3 actors. Who will play these
characters? Add names and photographs. Now re-written to make sense,
however no images added.
13.Equipment is detailed very briefly in the production schedule. You need
to do this as a separate post with more detail. What camera will you use?
What else do you need? Equipment list now added, good use of images.
14.A comprehensive production schedule detailing all stages of production
well. You could add the evaluation stages to complete the year’s work.
Overall this is a proficient body of work, Joey. Good use of technology
throughout. Your blog is well organised with good use of labels.
Please see notes above for improvements. Focus on 1, 12 and 13
