This document provides feedback from a teacher to a student, James Evans, on his pre-production tasks for a film project. The teacher comments that James' research on genres and target audience was good but could be more detailed. James' script needed formatting edits and more information was needed about the actors. Additional details like equipment and editing plans were also requested. By the next submission, James had addressed most of the feedback by adding more details, revising documents, and completing all required pre-production work. His final mark improved from 5 initially to 10 and then 13 out of 20.

1. Good analysis of a mixture of comedy and action films. Using Johnny
English and Austin Powers should help as you plan to do a spy film.
2. More detail is needed here. You have done a prezi on all genres, with 2
further posts on comedy and action. Why not transfer all this information
and add more along with pictures to help onto one prezi or power-point.
Remember you are doing a comedy/action so thats what you need to
research. Action/comedy genre research added. Be careful in naming
your directors. The Wachowski Brothers are no longer called this, they
are just ‘The Wachowski’s’ now.
3. Target audience avatars now uploaded with notes and good descriptions
of likes.
4. Your script needs editing so that it is all in the same font size. You might
find it easier to upload the original word doc via slideshare rather than
copying and pasting to blogger. What are your agents called? Sometimes
agents 1, 2 etc sometimes Kevin, Phillip etc. Decide which one don’t
have both. Script has been re-drafted by is still not in the correct format.

Where is the rest of your work James? This is a good start but everything must
be uploaded. As you have a lot missing this can only be a level 1 at the
moment.
Good additional of permission slips, risk assessment and character analysis.
You have added all your pre-production work apart from your choice of actors.
