Teachers comments
You need to upload your preliminary film and evaluation please. Now complete
1. You have analysed 4 films but your hand written notes are very hard to
read. Please type these up for marking. Notes have now been typed up,
analysis is clear but could use more detail.
2. Well found information but this is not your own words. Remember I am
marking your work not wikipedias. Please use this information to form
your own work, perhaps as a prezi or powerpoint? Genre research now
written in own words, good inclusion of directors and conventions.
3. No work uploaded Target audience identified well in with genre research.
4. A good first draft of your script. You have included a synopsis at the start
of your script, this wouldn’t typically be there. You could re-write this in
correct script format and use this version as a draft. Script has been
typed up in correct format, however draft has been taken down. Please
put this back up to show drafting and progression of ideas.
5. Not much evidence of drafting. Most of what you have uploaded is notes,
you could use these as your drafts.
6. This is a very basic storyboard but does not have any detail on it. What
shots will you use? How is the camera moving? Please use this as a first
draft and transfer onto the correct storyboard format. Correct format of
storyboard not uploaded.
7. A clear shot list. Well done.
8. A good floor plan. What location is this for? Please add this to the title.
Title now added.
9. No work uploaded Location choice now uploaded but very brief.
10.No work uploaded Costume choices now uploaded, and explained. Good
addition of images.
11.No work uploaded Prop choices now uploaded, and explained. Good
addition of images.
12.No work uploaded Actors identified but with no explanation why, images
of some actors added.
13.No work uploaded Equipment choices now uploaded, please check
which camera you will use – 600D
14.A start to your production schedule but this need much more detail. Can
you break your scenes down? What will you edit and when? Schedule
remains the same as before
Where is the rest of your work? You are missing quite a lot of elements
Harrison. At the moment this is level 1 as there is minimal planning, most of
your work is in note form and needs typing up. Please use the notes in red as a
guide to improve your work.
All work now either uploaded or typed up with the exception of a correct
storyboard. Most work is at a basic level with some work at a proficient level.
