Teachers comments
You need to label all of your pre-production posts as ‘pre-production’ to make it
easier for the examiner to find your work. Work now re-labelled and blog fully
organised.
1. Excellent analysis on your chosen film openings. From Frozen and 1408
are there any elements that you will use as inspiration for your film? You
could also add posters/DVD covers for each film to make it more visual.
Images and more analysis now added to film openings, well done.
2. Excellent prezi on your chosen genre, well done.
3. Good good on target audience, well visualised using avatars.
4. Script is very descriptive and not set out in proper format. You could use
this as your first draft. Please take out the camera shots and write this up
as per the script template. Script now re written in correct format, well
done.
5. A fantastic mind map showing your initial ideas with blog post outlining
your final idea. Excellent work on colour connotations in your film.
6. No work uploaded Excellent storyboards in both hand drawn format and
using location photos, well done.
7. Very clear detailed shot list, well done.
8. No work uploaded Floor plans of keys scenes now uploaded. Good notes
showing how the shooting will take place.
9. Excellent location photos, clearly explained and great addition of shot
choices.
10.Costume choices identified and explained well, good addition of images.
One picture doesn’t work, please check. Now re-uploaded.
11.Prop choices identified well, good addition of images. One picture doesn’t
work, please check. Now re-uploaded.
12.No work uploaded Choice of actors now uploaded, good addition of
images
13.Equipment choices identified well, good addition of images.
14.No work uploaded Production schedule now added, great breakdown of
scene by scene for both production and editing periods.
What you have uploaded so far is to an excellent level. Fantastic use of
location, however as you are missing work, this can only be a level 2 as is
incomplete. Please upload the rest.
All work has now been completed to an excellent standard. Excellent addition of
colour connotations for costume, props and locations. Good evidence of drafting
throughout – level 4, well done.
