Thousands of college students who have serious problems with depression need to realize they have a
problem in order to get better. Many students believe that they have failed themselves when they
admit to having a problem with depression (O Connor, 2001). People also look down upon those that
have special needs or take medication for their problems, especially college students. Students are
constantly judging themselves in order to live up to their standards as well as their peers, parents, and

Improper Treatment of Students
Once a student admits to failure, they must make arrangements to talk with someone. If they do not
live near their home, they must talk with an advisor on their campus and taking that step can be very
difficult. Many people look down upon talking with someone and students believe that if they cannot
solve their own problems then they consider themselves a failure.
There are those that believe talking with an advisor on campus is the quickest way to recovery.

Analysis Of The Short Story Ennis And Jack
In the short story, Ennis and Jack are both described as rough mannered, rough spoken, and inured to
the stoic life (Proulx 1). Ennis had a high arched nose and narrow face, was scruffy, had a caved chest,
a small torso and caliper legs, possessed a muscular body and supple body made for the horse and
fighting (Proulx 3). He was a high school dropout and grew up having much of nothing after his
parents died when he was just a young boy (Proulx 2). The death of his parents forced him to grow up
at a young age. At the age of 19, he had a difficult time finding work and it wasn t until he came to
Brokeback Mountain that he found a summer job. This was also where he met Jack who had come
from a similar background. Jack had curly hair and a quick laugh, but carried weight in the haunch
and his smile showed his buckteeth. He loved the rodeo life. His boots were worn to the quick and

and came back to Brokeback Mountain for the second year. Not only did they come from the same

The Holocaust was an event that took place from 1933 to 1945 in Germany. During this time, Adolf
Hitler was in charge, resulting in the prejudice actions that are well written in history. Facing

divided within himself by war. Tim has seen war divide him with everything. His Father is a Loyalist,

For as many years as anyone can remember, my family has hunted. This tradition is takes its main
roots in Sweden. The earliest history that anyone in our family knows begins with my Great Great

Our hunting party consisted of myself, my grandfather, my mother, my uncle, and my cousin. In the
state of Colorado, you have to be 12 years of age to acquire a hunting license, so I spent the first few
years of my hunting experience as a tag along to my mother: the only one with a hunting license most

After watching O.J. Made in America, I gained a different perspective of O.J Simpson and the
understanding of how society was back in the early 50 s. When I had first heard of O.J Simpson it was
not about football or him being in movies, it was about how he had brutally murdered his wife at the
time and her lover. Along with hearing about how he had brutally murdered the two, it was known
how he was self centered, very egocentric and would try to talk his way out of everything which the

like the director did this to show how O.J was before the allegation of him being convicted of
