1. Throughout the process of using Photoshop, I used the crop tool a lot. For example, when I dragged an image into Photoshop, and it would open up on a separate page, I would have to crop the image in order to copy and paste it into the original Photoshop page I was using. If I wanted to look closely at a font or image, I would zoom into the page to see if it needed editing as it would be easier to see any errors. I used the blur and smudge tool on my front cover image, as my models hair was not smooth and as a model, she has to be perfect. The smudge tool covered in the colour that you wanted most, and the blur tool made a certain part of the image more even. The lasso tool is ideal if you want to cut the edges of a part of an image that you do not need. It makes it look neater and gets rid of excess image you do not need. I used this most, as I was in control of where I wanted to cut whereas the magnetic found it itself, but did not always find the sections I wanted. The shape tools were good if you wanted to create something yourself, and make it your own magazine. It was your own shape, and where you put it, is up to you.
