Jenni learned several new technologies in creating her music magazine. She gained skills using Apple Mac software and applications. Photoshop was the main software used, and Jenni learned tools like the Magic Eraser, Text, and Zoom tools to professionally edit photos and text. She also gained experience taking photos with a Canon digital camera and using Blogger to upload screenshots of her work.

2. What have you learnt about technologies from
the process of constructing this product?
• During the process of making my music
magazine I used many different software’s
that I haven’t used before and developed my
skills further.

3. Apple Mac’s
• Whilst making my magazine I had to learn how
to navigate around apple mac and how to use
the software and the applications. To begin
with I didn’t really know how to use the device
properly but no I feel like I’ve developed my
skills really well.

4. Photoshop
• This is the main piece of software I used to
boost my magazine to a highly profession
standard that a institute would distribute.

5. Magic Eraser Tool
• This tool has been very useful in terms of
removing backgrounds. When I first started
out on photo shop I didn’t know the tool
existed and I would just remove the whole
background with the normal eraser.

6. Text Tool
• The text tool has been very useful to me It’s
what I used to add all my quotes and my text.
It has been very useful in terms of choosing
fonts and putting things into place.

7. Zoom in tool
• The zoom in tool was very useful when I was
taken out backgrounds and had to go around
the pictures to smoothen the edges.

8. Digital Camera
• I hadn’t had much previous experience with
the Canon cameras. To begin with I didn’t have
the focus right on the camera causing my
images to be blurry, so I then had to arrange
another photo shoot in order to get the
images right.

9. Blogger
• When I first set up my blogger account I found
it really confusing and difficult to remember to
screenshot my work and remember to upload
it as I don’t usually have to do it.
