1. Photoshop Evidence – Double Page Spread
When creating my double page spread for my magazine I
used a number of tools provided on the toolbar down the left
hand side of the page. As shown.
This tool, known as the ‘eyedropper’ tool, enabled me to
make sure that everything was the same colour for example, I
wanted the purple background behind my text boxes to me
the same colour as the title strip, therefore by using this tool
it allowed me to select the purple colour I wanted and then
use the fill bucket to change the colour of my title box.
This tool, known as the ‘text’ tool, allowed me to add text to
my double page spread, for example the title, the article on
Jessie J and my caption label. After I was satisfied with my
text I was able to edit the font, colour and size.
I also used the ‘blur’ tool when creating this page, this
allowed me to blend my image into my article on the right
hand side of my page. To do this I selected this to and rubbed
the centre line of my page until I was happy with the two
sides blended together.
The tool used the most when creating this page was the
‘selection’ tool; this allowed me to move things around my
page.
