civilians is the National Guard. National Guardsmen and women get benefits that

and education should be taken into account when deciding a future in the National
Guard. Humans only have so long to live, time wasted is time that cannot be

ink and coded messages to the life of deception Washington s spies embraced. Rose
not only reveals the exciting tales of danger, but also shows how the deceptive spies
and Washington gained mutual trust through the difficult situations.
Rose s thesis statement declared how honor affected the spies who were a part of the
Culper ring. He first mentioned honor in the first chapter, quoting Nathan Hale,
Spying, he agreed, was not an honorable undertaking, but if the exigencies of my
country demand a peculiar service its claims to perform that service are imperious.
The spying game was not considered gentlemen s work, for the title spy was
dishonorable in itself. Throughout the book, Rose proved his thesis by mentioning
how it affected each of the members described in his book along with some internal
conflict they had about it. Rose concluded the book with an epilogue sharing how
each of the spies lived their lives after the war was over, and how many could return
to their normal lives without the criticism of partaking in Washington s dishonorable
tasks.
Rose s tales evaluated how the individuals themselves, in a way, altered history. Each
individual in the Culper ring motivated history and altered what could have been in
some way. Whether Nathan Hale s death made him a revolutionary hero, or Benjamin
Tallmadge s idea of the Culper ring each

Almost everyone has a favorite song, a song that takes them back or sends them
forward to a place and time that is not the present. What makes us pick out our
favorites? What kind of affect does a song have that it requires us to constantly hum
it or sing it at the top of our lungs? While I cannot speak for others without some
kind of group consultation, I can explain the things that make me feel so intensely
about this song, Lithium, preformed by a 1990s grunge rock band, Nirvana, and sung

(nirvana music), talks about somebody who either does not believe in God or
believe in going to church on Sundays, or is not afraid to worship in another manner
other than the usual. Sunday is just another day of the week. This person is not
afraid of any repercussions that might be the effect of this activity. This line is also
about having freedoms.
Light my candles/ In a daze/ Cause I ve found god/ Hey, Hey, Hey (nirvana music)
is a continuation of the preceding line. It is difficult to determine what is meant

Coral Reefs ecosystems only covered two tracks up to the 1970 80 s and they were
biological and geological. From those years, we have been able to study and learn
more about coral reefs. We have found that these reefs exist and a continued form
such as none reef building coral ecosystems can have fast structures being built.
There is still quite a bit of things we will need to learn such as determining if coral
communities are dependent on the abilities of reef building. They are used for
structure and providing space to the ecosystem of the reef itself, having biodiversity,

In the novel Dawn, author Elie Wiesel writes an intriguing story about Elisha, a
young man just eighteen years of age. Buchenwald had been liberated and Elisha

philosophy. As fate would have it, there was a knock on the door and there stood a
young man named Gad. There was a calmness about Gad and odd that he claimed he

The book, All Quiet on the Western Front, was narrated by a 19 year old German

Paul and throughout the story, Paul mentions the horrible and terrible things he and
his friends had to live throughout the war on the front. Most of his friends are the
same age as him and are from the same school Paul went to and they all voluntarily
joined the army after being influenced by their teacher, Kantorek, by listening to his
speeches. They later realize that the speeches Kantorek said were meaningless and
did not believe that being in the war or that the war itself at all was honorable or
glorious, it was just a brutal battlefield that brought physical and constant terror....
Before Kemmerich dies, he asks Paul to give his boots to Muller knowing that it
would be no use to him after he dies and that it would be better off with Muller then
thrown away. The story goes on with Paul and his friends struggling to survive
with small portions of food and the never ending war continuing on the front. Paul
and his friends survive many attacks and bombardments learning and understanding
different weapons the enemy is using and the different noises or sound that can
help them understand where a shell is hitting or where a gas grenade might have

The Death Of Terminally Ill
As Americans, we are granted rights in this country and these rights, according to
the Declaration of Independence, grant us Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of
Happiness . So tell me why someone that is terminally ill cannot use these rights to
end their life of pain and suffering. Some states have rallied and given those who
are terminally ill the right to die. However, some simply see this means of ending a
life, inhumane, unethical, immoral, and just plain wrong. As a citizen of the United
States where we simply have our rights, should we not be granted the right to die? A
big controversy on the news in the United States is having the right to die. People see
this as something wrong due to various cultural and religious beliefs. This means of
having the right to die is simply termed assisted suicide or human euthanasia. Only a
few states have legalized assisted suicide by means of the Deathwith Dignity Act.
The four states that assisted suicide is legal in is: California, Oregon, Vermont, and
Washington. However, in order to take act in assisted suicide there are terms and
conditions by each state that must be met. A little history into the practice of
euthanasia, which started with the ancient Greeks, and is now something legal into
few states today. According to Hosseini (2012), euthanasia is actually a Greek word

with some similarities and differences. These two women have comparable ideas
and they also live in the same society. In this time period they live in a world that
was decrepit, and very controlling, and they had to show a great deal of respect to the
men of the household. In this time period the womans expectations were to clean,
cook, and take care of the children and whatever else chores they had to accomplish.
Louise character tries to display happinessthroughout the story about being free and
triumphant, but Emily is the complete opposite. The author, Kate Chopin focuses
