headquarter is situated in Bentonville, Arkansas , USA. At present, it has 10593 stores over 24 counties around the
world. It is the world’s largest revenue earning company till now and also it is the largest employer in private
sector employment around the globe. It is also enlisted is New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) for public trade of
stocks. Every Day Low Price (EDLP) , any time any where is the prime focus in our business strategies.

Broad Objective
Close observation of all areas of work to identify potential wastage and back tracking them to offer acceptable
cost saving.

4. Specific Objective
1. To analyze the cutting and pattern section of factories to identify process and efficiency loss
2. To explore sewing line to find out process simplification to improve SMV and time cost
3. To find out in yarn inventory to reuse yarn stock
4. Plotting right approach to negotiate to survive order

5. Findings
In our study , we have explored 3 areas to find out business benefit or savings by examining them under closest
observation. They are –
• Cutting come marker efficiency – hits on fabric consumption to save money.
• Process simplification – hits of SMV (standard minute value) and CM (cost of making) to save money.
• Reuse of yarn – hits on yarn usage for the product , by reducing the amount of yarn used it saves money.
