a. GeoEnpro Petroleum Limited (Location: Kharsang, Ar.P, India)
Company is operator of kharsang oilfield in upper Assam basin since 1995 under PSC signed with Govt of India in joint
venture with Jubilant Oil & Gas Ltd, Geopetrol (India) Ltd and Oil India Ltd. The present production is @ 1200 BOPD and
has extensive plan to improve production through drilling new infill wells. Further planning is also in progress for
delineating deeper horizons thru drilling two exploratory wells.

2. POSITION: DY. GENERAL MANAGER
NATURE OF JOB: DY. GENERAL MANAGER HAS TO ENSURE THE OPTIMUM HYDROCARBON PRODUCTION (THROUGH IDENTIFIED 70 NOS
WELL SET) AT THE LOWEST COST THRU PROPER PLANNING, EXECUTION AND SUPERVISION OF INDIVIDUAL WELL
SR. PETROLEUM ENGINEER has to develop knowledge, skill and experience in the areas of Identification of Work over
Candidates, Work over Operation, Well Stimulation, Well integrity check, Well testing and inflow improvement.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDED & MAJOR WORKS:
• Evaluate and diagnose problem of producing wells. Initiate and prepare work over well
completion programs for remedial work, including workover programs for SRP change outs,
SRP/PCP/Gas Lift installations, well re-completions, zone transfer, zone isolations,
stimulations or any work required for the normal operation of wells.
• Identify Shut-in Wells/Candidate wells for Work over operations
• Prepare and recommend well completion programs for newly drilled wells. Ensure with drilling
team the Completion designs meets the Production operational requirement till life cycle of
well.
• Access Well reliability of individual wells and inform the status to Management to plan WO
jobs and other remedial jobs accordingly.
• Selection of suitable Well completion equipment’s and type for Producing well based on
Production Behavior and Recommend/Implement changes for Optimum Production.
• Preparation of Routine and Revised Budget for production/well completion equipment’s,
keeping in view of Field Development Plan and for existing requirements. Ensure Budget is
utilized efficiently.
• Selection of suitable artificial System considering Technical and commercial feasibility of well
• Design of Beam Pumping System for Candidate wells using PROSPER/QROD Softwares.
• Design of Artificial Gas lift system for Candidate wells (PROSPER/SNAP Softwares).
• Installation of Downhole Chemical Injection Systems
• Installation of Downhole Heater Systems
• Application of standard operating procedures, best practices and lessons learned.
• Ensures that Company HSE policies, procedures, regulations and objectives are effectively
implemented.
• Ensure well reliability before doing Stimulation jobs
• Prepares cost estimates for completions and workovers
• Provides rig site technical assistance to Artificial Lift systems/ Completions and Workovers
• Trouble shoots operational and technical completion and workover problems.
• Supervise all slick line operations to operate downhole completion tools viz. SSD, Plugs and
prongs setting on X and Xn Nipples, BHP survey,etc.
• Planning of Wireline (Slickline) opertaions. Selection of Downhole Assemblies viz. Rope
Sockets, Stems, Knuckle Joints, Type of Jars, Fishing tools viz. X-line, JDC,JUC, GS, SB, RB
pulling tools, Sand Bailers, Impression Blocks, Wire Grabs, Gauge cutters, Fishing Magnets
etc. depending on the objective of Slickline operations.
• Maintains close liaison with services companies engineers, and keeps abreast of recent
developments in the area of well completion technology, equipment, practices, etc. Conducts
studies on adaptability of such technology to client operations and makes appropriate
recommendations.
• Well Testing and Bottom Hole data acquisition viz. FBHP, SBHP, PVT, Production logging and
interpretation etc.

b. Selan Exploration Ltd (Location: Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India)
Selan Exploration Technology Limited (SELAN) is a private sector listed company, incorporated in 1985, engaged in
oil exploration and production since 1992. SELAN was amongst the first private sector companies to have obtained
rights to develop three discovered oilfields situated in the state of Gujarat namely Bakrol, Indrora, Ognaj, Karjisan
and Lohar fields, all with proven oil and gas reserves. The production of Oil around 600 BPD through 30 wells.
SELAN has a Development Plan for drilling of additional wells in these blocks in the next 3 to 5 years.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDED:
• Well review of producing wells. Preparation of work over well completion programs for remedial work
• Supervision of Drilling activities on daily basis through 150 T Drilling Rig
• Preparation of Proposal for drilling campaign to DGH
• Performed all duties of Installation Manager of Indrora field
• Carried out pre and post audit of all drilling activities
• Incharge for Custody Transfer of Crude to ONGC
• Performed routine well production surveillance and problem well diagnostics.

technical support on matters related to the routine management of field wells operation
• Review and check up of reports like daily field report, daily production report, weekly report, monthly report,
DGH report, monthly production-reconciliation report of Selan project & conduct monthly safety meeting to
ensure compliance of all statutory requirements as per latest HSE guidelines , OMR, DGH/ OISD, state GPCB
guidelines.
