title is a wonderful piece of work that represents the expressions of more than 700
artists containing more than 1000 textured titles using different kinds of material. I
find this art to be abstract art, because this art stresses elements of composition,
rather than a subject. This body of work was designed with undefined proportions
and great balance. This piece of art has artistic element of color, line, shape, form,
and texture. The spiral was added to give tone and balance to the art and provide a
smooth separation of colors. These are some of thing that immediately drawls the
viewer to the bodywork. The work is a colorful representation of the past as well as
the future showing all aspects of life. There was no detail information on this
collage of title work other than the name, but it spoke to me and I had to share this
with the class. If you didn t know anything about art, this work would get your
attention and show you the past and take you forward into today. The

organized and displayed. This assemblage by Betye Saar shows us how using
different pieces of medium can bring about the wholeness of the point of view in

and how it is seen through the eyes of an artist.
At 1st glance this piece does look like a photograph, even a painting, but this series

By doing this, Saar dramatically changes the viewer s perspective of the piece, and
utterly alters the image. This could mean several things, she could be depicting the
fact that this woman is expressing that she will go to war for her race, and does not
care about what questions arise about her and her beliefs.
Saar, now draws us to the outermost part of the assemblage. Here we see a
completely different depiction of Aunt Jemima. This Jemima stands holding a white
child on one of her hips, with a smile that can kill you on her face or a don t mess
with me smile. She is also depicted standing behind a white picket fence with a white
sheet draped over it. This could be seen as something that can be defined as
complex, based on how the viewer depicts it. Going forward, the sheet is almost
obsolete, due to a brown fist raised in the black power salute. This gives us a sense
that Aunt Jemima is transformed from a negative stereotype, to an independent,
assertive, strong individual human being. Saar has given us the sense that she has
seized control of this piece to define identity. She is also holstering this pistol,
which also shows the viewer that she will fight for what she believes in. As a

Spring, Syria s president Bashar al Assad responded not just through brute force but
also by the raising of the salaries of the public servants, the cancellation of subsidy

regime has deployed in its quest for survival that of the deployment of patronage to

Judging others isn t the best way to start friendship and there s no question about
it. In the movie cars, Lightning McQueen; a hotshot race car is on his way to the
annular Piston Cup, he runs into some trouble on the way and accidentally departs
from his path there. He stumbles into a small hick town called Radiator Springs
where he destroys the roads in panic and meets the love of his life. He is held in
the junkyard for his crimes of wrecking the road which is costing him time to get
back in time for the Piston Cup. Throughout his time there he meets new people that
will grow to be the most loyal and true friends he will ever meet. In the film, Cars by
the screenwriter Joe Ranft, uses the outcast to assert that we as humans tend to judge

Next, characters jumping to conclusions, judging and assuming things is seen

ordinary light, but one that illuminates the void of darkness. Just like the moths that
