• Understanding current financial
condition.
• Note down the Source of income &
Expenditure during a definite
period of time.
• If Source of income is higher than
expenditure than you are financial
healthy or less your unhealthy.

5. Goal Setting
• S(Specific): State exactly what is to be done
with money involved
• M( Measurable): Write down the exact
amount
• A(Attainable): Create a step-by-step plan
outlining how exactly how goal can be

Realistic manner.
• T(Time Bound): Specially state when the
goal is achieved

6. Creating Plan
• Investing 25% of monthly salary in
Equities/Mutual Funds.(If you had done a
SIP in the equity index (Sensex assuming
you could buy from 1977) on a dividend
consumed basis your returns should be
in excess of 20% CAGR)
• Saving 15% of monthly salary in Bank
Deposits for emergency need.
• Buying an Insurance which would hardly
cost 5% of Monthly salary.

• Have a vision to built assets which get
compounded not depreciated with the
time.
• Take a professional advice from a expert
who would help to carry out the process.
• Focus on long term gains rather than
short gains.
• Reduce bad habits and try to avoid
unnecessary Spending's.

• Track your actions monthly or
annually on your bank deposits.
• Don’t track your Mutual

achieve your short/mid term goals.
