short messaging systems (SMS) is becoming more mainstream due to the
exponential increase in cell phone usage and other mobile devices. From messages
sent through Twitter to emergency notifications broadcast through mobile
networks, the short messaging systems is becoming more ubiquitous. In our
paper, we will present the modeling approach for SMS that will lead to the Simple
Reliability Model and the Advanced Analytical Model. We will use the NS 2
Simulator to simulate the output that consists of a server and numerous mobile
nodes. We will compare the analytical models to our simulation results. Key Words:

This part focuses on the health care system and health promotion. Formerly, I think
health care is very similar in every counties and it is very easy to enhance the health
promotion. However, after having workshops and readings in these few weeks, my

For me, the most important aspect is the different health care system in different
countries. As Jennifer mentioned in the workshop, there are two types of health care
system single payer health care system and multipayer health care system which
includes both public and private health care. Public health care is funded by
governments which usually provide free treatment. By contrast, private health care
allows citizens to buy their private health insurance, which generally asks to spend a
huge amount of money(Germov, 2014).
Such differences between single and multipayer health care brings a numbers of
controversies. Some people believed that using a mixed public private system is
appropriate, while others think having single health care system is better. Such
debate is also happened in our workshop, which makes me consider about the

advantages and disadvantages. On the one hand, for some countries, such as

Gandhian in the sense that the novel presents the victory of the Gandhian virtues
over violence and rudeness. Narayan presents two sets of contrasting relationships
between Raja, the tiger and the Captain at first and between Raja and the freedom
fighter turned Sanyasi later in the novel.
The relation of the captain and the tiger is that of the master and the slave the ruler
and the ruled. This binary relation is mechanical, materialistic, momentary and
compulsive; administered and monitored through cane and fear. These relations are
polarized in a way similar to that of the colonizer and the colonized. But the
relationship between the tiger and the Sanyasi is founded on love, mutual
understanding and sympathy; hence it is eternal and enduring. The complete
transformation of Raja, the tiger at the end of the novel suggests the victory of good

The Social Center For Lgbt Youth
The research question that facilitated our asset map was simply What social outlets
are available for LGBT youth in the greater Los Angeles area? . We chose this
question because the majority of the young people receiving services at our site are
homeless, and as everyone knows, homelessness is a condition that can quickly lead
to despair. We firmly believed that locating LGBT themed social gatherings, groups,
and organizations would be an essential step in pointing these youths towards systems
of support that could help make their difficult circumstances more bearable.
Also, it was vital for us to focus only on social outlets that were LGBT centric for
these young people, being marginalized members of an already marginalized
community, the homeless have distinct needs that other individuals don t. And when
these needs aren t met, the consequences can be tragic. Research shows that
approximately 62 percent of homeless LGBT youth attempt suicide (Center for
American Progress, 2010). Before we began our work, officials at our site informed
us that they did not have a list of social outlets for the clients, which made our asset
map that much more important.
We drew the boundaries of the map around the greater Los Angeles area. This
decision was made because many of the clients, being homeless, do not have the
means to go far distances. It would have been useless to include social outlets in San

When I visited Sweat Winter, I observed the children deepy invested in their topic
about birds. They were in meeting time and together they were discussing Maine
birds and different ways we could attract them to the playground in the small
community of Farmington. The kids learned how to make bird feeders and talked
about the anatomy of a generic bird, the different noise and their diversity. They
started with bird feeder and used specific materials to make them 3D. Posters and
stuffed animals were all around the room to show different characteristics of the
