This document discusses using Drone.IO and GitHub for automated testing of Chef cookbooks. Drone.IO is a continuous integration service that can be used to automatically test Chef cookbooks whenever code is pushed to a GitHub repository. It works by watching for changes, cloning the code, building a Docker image, running commands inside the image to test the code, and reporting the results. Instructions are provided on installing and configuring Drone.IO, as well as examples of using a .drone.yml file to define tests to run.
