This parking study was conducted at the Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology to determine the demand for and supply of parking facilities in front of the Civil Engineering Building. Data was collected through interviews and measurements of the existing parking area. The analysis found that the current parking layout with 47 spaces (15 staff, 31 general, 1 disabled) in a 90 degree configuration was sufficient to meet the peak demand of 50 vehicles observed. Recommendations included maintaining parking signs and slots, introducing paid parking if demand increases, and clearing space for additional parking in the future. Limitations of the study included resource constraints, unskilled surveyors, and a lack of modern instruments.
