Oxygen toxicity is a condition caused by exposure to high pressures of oxygen. It occurs when too much oxygen is present in the body, causing molecules to take electrons from wherever they can, leading to dizziness, nausea, and visual disturbances. To prevent oxygen toxicity, the amount of oxygen depending on the setting must be controlled. Photosynthesis can help by providing good oxygen through its process of using oxygen and producing it as a byproduct, allowing breathing to occur well.
