Our digipak
- 1. Our Digipak We created our digipak using photoshop
- 2. Front Cover • On the front cover we included both the artist’s name and the album title, conforming to convention. • Challenging convention, we did not include a large eye- catching picture relating to the band but we included a picture of the sunset from our video. This represents the album being indie and conceptual and could represent the theme of completing a journey whilst listening to the album.
- 3. Back Cover • Although we are conforming to convention by having a trackless on the back cover, it is in an unconventional format being around the centre. • The artist name is in the centre as well as the record label and barcode being at the bottom of the cover. • The image is an edited image of Jess, taken from our filming session 1 testing out the lighting.
- 4. Inside Cover (Right) • This is where the disc will be in the digipak • The album title is on the disc along with Jess who was the main focus of the ‘Love Like Mine’ music video, which is the featured song of the album. • The background of this panel contrasts the artwork on the disc. The colours fit with the 80s theme.
- 5. Lyric Booklet • We included a lyric booklet instead of just having 4 panels so now there would be 6 panels to our digipak. • This includes lyrics to the two main songs and the featured song panel. • We challenged convention by not having a website or QR code on the digipak as these would contrast our 80s theme.
