Multi-agent model of Saint-Petersburg

The model simulates 24 hours of the
life of the whole city and also contains
future scenarios (up untill 2044).
Using the model we are able to test
any policies and predict their impact.
Model also allows us to calculate
traffic externalities, compare the
environmental impact of any network
changes as well as assess the
accessibility of any site by different
transport modes.
The model was helped us to predict
traffic on the toll road after price
increase within 1-3% accuracy

effectiveness of the proposed
infrastructure measures.

The study was conducted to
identify the staus quo in
terms of public access to
emabrkments and the quality
of pedestrian infrastructure.
Conceptual improvement

Water transit network in S-Petersburg

Using the multi-agent model and
genetic algorithm most effective
layout for the water transit system
was developed.
For each of 6 proposed routes the
passenger traffic, revenue, the
optimal schedule and fares were
determined.
We‘ve calculated the financial
model for the project including
the size of public subsidies
required to launch the regular
operation of water transit.
Concept for Alexandrovskiy park
Developed together with ITMO
University and GASU University.
The deficits and gaps of the
existing pedestrian infrastructure
were analyzed and optimal
layout was developed using the
ant algorithm.

  • 4. Multi-agent model of Saint-Petersburg 4 The model simulates 24 hours of the life of the whole city and also contains future scenarios (up untill 2044). Using the model we are able to test any policies and predict their impact. Model also allows us to calculate traffic externalities, compare the environmental impact of any network changes as well as assess the accessibility of any site by different transport modes. The model was helped us to predict traffic on the toll road after price increase within 1-3% accuracy

For each of 6 proposed routes the passenger traffic, revenue, the optimal schedule and fares were determined.
