Choose two or more primary keyword relevant to
the page’s content and two or more keywords
that are closely related to the primary keyword.

6. The Title or Primary keyword needs to be 70
characters long and must be unique for each
page.
7. The meta description is a snippet of up to 160
characters, a tag in HTML, that summarizes a
page’s content. Search engines show the meta
description in search results mostly when
searched for phrase and is contained in the
description. Optimizing the meta description is
a very important aspect of on-page SEO.
8. Meta tags are snippets of text that describe a
page’s content, the meta tags don’t appear on
the page itself, but only in the page’s code.

We can put all keywords into it.

Unique for each page
Keywords stuffing and repitition are pointless
and make your website look spammy.
10. Header tags is one of the main On-page SEO
techniques.
What are header tags?
Header tags are nothing but headings in your post.
There are basically 6 types of header tags –

<h3>This is heading 3</h3>
<h4>This is heading 4</h4>
<h5>This is heading 5</h5>
<h6>This is heading 6</h6>
11. Using your target keyword (the keyword for
which you want your post to appear on
Google first page, also known as Focus or
main keyword) in Header tags will improve
the Search engine visibility for your target
keyword.
Most commonly used header tags are: H1, H2
and H3.
12. You include images in your articles to get people
to read your text.
Well-chosen images also strengthen your
message.
You shouldn’t forget to give those images good
alt attributes:
Alt tags and title tags strengthen the message
towards search engine and improve the
accessibility of your website.
The alt and title attributes of an image are
commonly referred to as alt tag or alt text.
The alt text describes what’s on the image and
the function of the image on the page.
13. Internal links are links that go from one page
on a domain to a different page on the same
domain. They are commonly used in main
navigation. Internal link is one that points to
another page on the same website.
These type of links are useful for: :
Users to navigate a website.
They help establish information hierarchy for
the given website.
14. Content is a very important aspect in digital
marketing. Quality content means content
with no plagarism or copywriting.
15. Keyword density tells you how often a search
term appears in a text in relation to the total
number of words it contains.
For example: if a keyword appears three
times in a 100 word text the keyword density
would be 3%. From the point of view of
search engines, a high keyword density is a
good indicator of search engine spam. If a
keyword appears too often in a website,
search engines will downgrade the website
and it will then appear lower down in search
results.
16. A good XML sitemap is a roadmap to all
important pages of a website.
This roadmap guides Google to all main
content on a website.
Having an XML sitemap can be beneficial for
SEO, as Google can retrieve essential pages
of a website very fast.
17. Robots.txt is a text file webmasters create to
instruct web robots (typically search engine
robots) how to crawl pages on their website.
The robots.txt file is part of the the robots
exclusion protocol (REP), a group of web
standards that regulate how robots crawl the
web, access and index content, and serve that
content up to users.
The REP also includes directives like meta
robots, as well as page-, subdirectory-, or site-
wide instructions for how search engines should
treat links (such as “follow” or “nofollow”).
18. The practice of sharing content from a website
on a social media site or application.
19. SEO is one of the best techniques for a
website to get a higher ranking position in
Google.
