This document describes an online examination system created by Aakanksha under the guidance of Miss. Varsha. The system allows students to take exams over the internet and provides benefits like reduced paperwork, flexibility, and security. It was created using technologies like PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL. The system has features that allow administrators to manage exams, questions, students, and results while students can register, take timed exams, and view their results. The project aims to automate the examination process and reduce workload for staff.

PHP: Hypertext Pre-processor (PHP) is a technology that allows
software developers to create dynamically generated web pages, in
HTML, XML, or other document types, as per client request. PHP is
open source software.
MySQL: MySql is a database, widely used for accessing querying,
updating, and managing data in databases.

 Online Examination system is a new technique to conduct an
examination through internet.
 Php is a web base language so we can create an online examination system
in PHP.
Administrator of Online Examination has multiple features such as Add,
Delete, Update Topics and Question.

• Taking backup of the database.

36. Conclusion
Online Examination System (OES) is a web application. The
key concept is to minimize the amount of paper and convert all
forms of documentation to digital form. It can observe that the
information required can be obtained with ease and accuracy in
the computerized system. The user with minimum knowledge
about computer can be able operate the system easily. The
system also produces result required by the management.

37. Future Enhancements
 The System can be enhanced to support other QA types like fill in the blanks,
true/false, match the columns etc.
 The System can be enhanced by deploying it to the world wide web, so users can
use System from distance places.
 The Current System can take only one active test at a time, the System can be
modified so as to support multi-active tests at one time from the server.
There is proposition for adding an extra functionality for checking the
Subjective answers to with this system.
